  1. Right, the new wheels are on ready for Sunday Could I also take someone's number in case I'm late/get lost etc??? Thanks
  2. Very good of you Phil, you're a top man
  3. A good purchase Although are you really going to wait until after the winter to put them on!? Can't believe you'd be able to wait!
  4. You can make your payment to the finance company so that you know its been done Yeah, that way there's no having to worry - nice plan! That would enable me to sleep better at night if I was considering this car A lot of cars at the mo are being sold with finance to clear, is normal on the basis people finance them then can't afford to keep them! Just make sure it is clear as per the suggestions above
  5. I didn't know these existed Does that not wipe out the purpose of having a locking wheel nut!?!? Depends on the quality of locking wheel nut in my experience. I think these are mainly designed for OEM nuts and bolts. The design has changed slightly from what I last remember but below is an example.... http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_196491_langId_-1_categoryId_71555 Fair enough - learn something new everyday! Although reading the one feedback comment on there, I don't think we have to worry too much about people using them to steal alloys!! lockers are a deterent but not found a set yet that we haven't been able to remove, the good thing is some take a fair amount of time but some very pricey ones are frightenly easy. Can you recommend any and a price!?

  7. Wow, great first post! In November 2007! One year on and Frosty is living up to his name - I've just noticed this is a sticky, I thought it was a more current post than that! Still funny though!

  13. Happy birthday Phil, hope you're having a good one
  14. Very nice mate Welcome aboard!
  15. Guys, I am changing my wheels in the next couple of days so will be selling my rays... They are the standard 18" ones which came with my 08 car. They are immaculate with tyres. Tyres have done 1300 miles (well three of them have, another has done a few hundered less as I had to buy a new one thanks to a puncture in my first 2 weeks of having the car!). Anyway, I'm looking for £800 so if anyone is interested, pm me. Thanks, Rob
  16. Love your car very much, my mate had a P1 and I thought that was supreme but to make something quicker - unbelievable.................
  17. I would love to spend whatever it takes but getting permission to spend £20k (I may have managed to work on her and get that up to 22k!) was an effort! Lol - I had to take the lady our for a few meals in the build up to me buying one!
