  1. Yeah no chance of a cello going in... You'd be lucky even getting a violin in!
  2. Not going to be able to make this one guys as my other half has Jimmy Carr tickets Will def aim to be at the next one. Enjoy
  3. That sounds pretty good if they are, they're lovely wheels
  4. Cheers Cavey Look forward to catching up again at the London to Brighton meet
  5. Convoy? Definitely the best colour too Phil. If anyone wants to arrange a meet at our place we will lay on the food and refreshments, test drives etc, anytime after next friday, even a Sunday is fine. Very good of you Phil Something to consider Z Boy... Although how long did it take you to get up there? I presume I'll be the same time! 6 hours!?!?
  6. That looks so Am tempted to drive all that way just to see it
  7. Yeah I remember you saying that hence I thought this thread would be of interest to you Also, good idea re updating the dealer list, on to it now
  8. Cheers guys This weekend will be the beginning of really enjoying the car, run in with no flat tyres... Feel's like a dream!
  9. You'll def get 20 cars parked in the multi-storey at the Marina. There are 2 car parks. Tends to only fill in the Summer so I'd expect us to all be able to park at the top in the open. If not may have to spread out a little but on the basis there are hundred's of spaces there am sure no problem.
  10. As many of you would know, when I went to Wales I had only fitted my new Nismo's a couple of days earlier, however the tyres kept deflating. Well by driving on them I shredded 2 of them On challenging the garage over the problem, they found that the valves were not good. They were not faulty just poor design (according to them). They even demonstrated to me why. There demonstration of the problem looked pretty clear. They only held air if they were over tightened but by doing this it looked like only a matter of time before the washer would split. On the basis these valves are sold with the wheel, I'd be surprised if they were crap. However, I do remember a few others telling me about this problem hence why I'm sharing it with you. Anyway, as the place I got my tyres fitted was through Nissan, I involved them as I was facing having to buy 2 new tyres which I wasn't thrilled about. Anyway, to cut a long story short, Barnard and Brough (Nissan) in Haywards Heath where I got the car from sorted me out with 2 new tyres free of charge I think this was a spot on service especially as many Nissan dealers appear to be pretty crap at after sales. I now have the new tyres on with new valves (not Nismo) and to date no air escaping!
  11. Great news mate, well done Out of interest, you mention it has cost about £16k, what would it have cost at the time to just buy one? I understand obviously there is a big enjoyment out of building it but just interested to know!
  12. I suppose you could give it a go, afterall it won't be expensive to bin if it doesn't work
  13. I knew all the years of reading MaxPower (back when it was what it was!) would come in handy...I actually get this reference lol Ditto. Its the Renault 5 look - I'd have to say don't do it
  14. I like them although I'm sure I posted a thread about Ace alloys in the past and they were looked down on!!

  16. It'd be nice to think it might help to throw a few customers his way! Are you going to the Thurrock meet this time Rob? Would be cool to see your white beasty in the flesh again! I haven't put my name down yet as I'm not sure if I can get there, 50/50 I'd say If not then, will see you on the London to Brighton which looks like it's going to be quite a decent size meet Yeah that'll be wicked, let's just hope the weather is half decent for it. If you make it to Thurrock we'll have to have another swift convoy back! Like the sound of that, have run it in now so no limits!
