Cheers Rob! tbh, it amazes me that I have done more in the two and a half weeks that I have had the car back than the bodyshop managed to achieve in over 14 months! Just hoping it will all be worth it, fingers crossed! It will be Andy I'm sure... As someone else has already said, at the end of this you'll have one of the most amazing cars on here and one you built yourself (not many can say that now can they!!)...

All I can say is I have complete admiration for your dedication to this! Also, I'm surprised you haven't tracked the guys down who did this and gave them a polite slap

Woah, that sounds steep. I just turned 27 a few weeks ago and i only pay £400 fully comp with 8 years no claims. Are you declaring loads of mods or something? A lot of it depends on the cost of the car, I have 8yrs NCB and they couldn't get anywhere near my £900 Adrian Flux quote!!

I've always been told the v1 is same distance from ground as the standard one! Anyway, I have a steep drive with garage at the bottom. If I reverse down then front bumper would scrape. However, driving forward I'm ok.
