  1. Doesn't Simon George have a 458 he uses for experience days? Not sure of his company's name, but I'm sure a Google will turn it up for you
  2. How tight did you do the spark plugs up?

@Dave: Nope, you leave the motorsport battery in all the time but it won't hold charge for as long as the regular one, so after you've left your spanky GT3RS in the garage over the winter you swap them over to actually get the car started for a little run. You can then go back to the tiny battery for the track day season. In theory, of course. Personally I'd just drive the thing more and only use the lithium battery
  4. Bug and tar remover + clay bar + plastic spatula from a George Foreman grill = GREAT SUCCESS Oh the amount of gunk I've cleaned off cars over the last few years after using that combination...

Don't worry, they give you the normal one as well for that price It is a work of art though:
  6. Running better pads up front is fine as that's where most of the braking is done, putting better pads at the back shifts the braking backwards and can lead to some 'interesting' moments.
  7. Can't stand the soaps actually, I just don't see why LNOTP has to take over the BBC1 schedule when they've got BBC2 or BBC4 for this kind of thing. I do appreciate music and circumstance like this sometimes as long as I'm in the mood for it, so I can see the appeal, it's just not something I'd personally choose to spend my Saturday night watching.
  8. They've taken Casualty off for this guff
  9. Check out the title of the pages I want that beach buggy though
  10. EJ is right though, the new teams should be making progress but they're not. Even Lotus, who we were promised would be mixing it with the middle teams, just aren't getting anywhere. Hell, they can't even compete with Williams who are having their worst season ever. There has to be signs of improvement or sponsors are going to start walking and taking money with them. Vettel was great today again, but Webber is clearly only in this for the money now. He's a shadow of the racer we've seen in previous years, which is a shame as he's possibly the nicest guy on the grid. Lewis looks fed up and desperately wants to be in a car with Red Bull on the side. Am very glad the Ferrari look sh*t though, go suck a lemon Alcocko!

Exactly, although you'll be hard pushed to find one that does everything as well as a C2S sadly (R8 is too slow and has no storage, Aston is too slow and too fragile, and what else is there brand-new for £100k?) so it's still going to sell like hotcakes.

Have a go on the configurator then My ideal spec comes in at just under £100K, and that's without going mental on all the various trim pieces you could get Utterly mind-boggling money for a C2S, and yet they can't take the orders fast enough apparently. I do like the car, and the interior is certainly growing on me and a better place to be than the 997, but there's nothing there that would make me want to upgrade at this point.
  13. If he wanted a bigger car, then absolutely. Great call Stew
  14. You'd do well to beat the big guys right now, and unless you want to run it as a sideline for friends I don't think it's worth the bother. I just bought a custom PC from PC Specialist, and not only were they very competitive on price but their service was also unbeatable.
  15. Folks, if you have any interest in keeping your car looking its best then you must get your name down for this. I did it last year and it opened my eyes to just how you can and should use a DA machine, never mind the potential bargains to be had there.
  16. But you suggested an Astra!! I suggested a 2.0T Astra or VXR, the VXR which is probably as quick as a Zed - you guys were going for a 118 Diesel! He also said he wanted good MPG as a must, which neither of the two Astra variants will do
  17. PS2s are dead now don't forget, the PSS is the replacement and is a much superior tyre, so worth the cost if you can afford it. As soon as they get N-rated, that's the only tyre I'm going to put on my car. If you're not going to splash out on something decent like the PSS or the RE050A, then I would only ever consider the VUS. Utterly spectacular tyre for the money with more feedback than any tyre has the right to have. You'll probably be going slower as outright grip is less, but you'll know exactly what each wheel is doing at any one time so you won't care.
  18. If you're happy with the pressures then leave them as-is. I've never used the PS3 on the Zed as the PS2s were so much better, but assuming that they have the same hard sidewall as most Michelin tyres if it was me I'd be running 33/34 F/R. That's just me though, if you're happy then stay with that, a few psi here or there won't make too much difference.
  19. 350Z in the UK and JDM (not sure about the US) don't have tyre pressure monitors, and even if they did you still still manually check your tyre pressures roughly every fortnight. Get a cheapy gauge from Halfrauds, will be good enough for the 2 min job
  20. 1-Series, no contest. Still RWD so still fun if you want, and the 120D is very good on the ol' fuel.
  21. Just tell the debt collector that the debt is still in dispute, and contact TalkTalk again. Job's a carrot.
