  1. We've got it on here too. MASSIVE OWL FACE
  2. Might be worth reading that manual before the next rant though, eh?
  3. And they are who exactly? No offence, but anyone could make that blurb up so I don't think I'd be buying based on that one post
  4. Trailer coming November 2nd Where the hell did that come from??!! Nice way to keep a surprise Rockstar!
  5. 1. The Zed logo in the vent that you can only see with the doors open. Completely unnecessary design feature, yet it shows the passion that went into designing the car. 2. Cassette player in the stock head unit. DEAR GOD HAVE WE NOT LEFT THE 1980'S BEHIND??!! With regards to the Zed logo, I did other mods that made more of a difference to the car but the question was which feature/mod made me smile, and that little gem still makes me smile today when I think back to it.
  6. But that's directly comparable. What use is spending millions in R&D for split screens when nobody wants it, and what we really want is affordable 3D without the use of silly glasses?
  7. 3D still isn't the next major step in TV usage, so I foresee this falling happily on it's arse. Most people who buy TVs don't buy them for gaming, so this is already aiming at an incredibly niche market (mainly blokes who share a flat with another guy, I reckon) and it's just not going to sell in decent numbers to make it worthwhile. Instead of pissing about with this, why don't they spend the money making 3DTV without the use of any glasses on a domestic set sensibly priced? That's surely the holy grail right now.
  8. Seats are lovely though, I've got a thing for the diamond stitching these days The rest of the car is... *checks release date of TFATF* ... almost exactly 10 years out of date.
  9. Dare I ask what flyeyes are? Please don't say those hideous eyebrow things...
  10. When I said do the brakes, I meant properly. Discs and pads as a minimum, callipers too if you really want the huge differences. Get the car fully braced up as well, along with putting some decent rubber on it (what are you running right now?) and I can guarantee you will have a much more responsive and adjustable car than dropping a few kilos will ever hope to achieve.
  11. 0-60 is for kids playing Top Trumps. 30-100 will show you how the car actually works when you want it to.
  12. ^^^ What he said. If you want to go quicker, then go buy the best brakes you can afford. A set of Rays will also make a huge difference as you're losing unsprung mass, which is the best place to lose it.

    please help

    HR or DE revup engine?
  14. Correct. Anything that alters the car from how it came out of the factory is a modification and you need to tell your insurer. Will they care? Nah, but at least you've told them and there's no come back from you. Tbh I wouldn't tell them about the odd little sticker here or there, or even big ones a la Le Mans style, but I would tell them about an entire wrap.
  15. See I'm not so sure about that, as they don't ask you what colour your car is when you take out your policy. Whether or not their info that they get from the DVLA is right or not is an issue between insurer and DVLA, and we all know just how crap the DVLA can be at times. The V5 can say that your Zed has 4 doors and is a diesel if it wants, as long as you insure it as a 2 door petrol then you're covered.
  16. What a shame, but then I always thought they were very brave to try something like that in compensation-happy USA. Great coasters though, always found the blue one to be better than the red one though.
  17. Ring them and ask them? But no, they won't care as they don't ask you what colour the car is anyway. Interestingly though whilst a respray wouldn't be considered a modification, would a wrap? Strictly speaking I'd say it would.
  18. http://www.snopes.com/fraud/telephone/pds.asp Outdated and surely people aren't that stupid they need telling this every year? No offence meant fella, I know you only mean good by posting this, but much more useful would be posting a link to Snopes instead.
  19. Depends on the engine. The older V8s will outlast most people, but the TVR inline sixes had design issues from the factory sadly. Once they've had the rectification work done they're a far more reliable engine as long as they're warmed up properly.
  20. Indeed, hope you get a result
