  1. That would be amazing, do you need me to get any sizes for it?
  2. Best so far tbh. Ooh, also had to put the small print on that first page too, nothing major just covers my arse
  3. No fear, I've moved Rich to the bottom and you to the top for now, so you'll actually get him next week Zedabee is a bit clever, nice one. I was thinking along the lines of VeeKew myself (think about it) but decided it didn't really suit the little fella.
  4. I just did a little sick in my mouth
  5. Righty-o, first post now edited with a list of people who made it clear they wanted a go, anyone else wants adding then shout up. Rich, you happy being next or did you want to be moved to later on? He's here with me at work today, and he shall shortly be taking his first adventure...
  6. To be fair he's actually right, even a set of ditchfinders would be more useful in the snow than the RE070s, deeply tread they are not!
  7. I got the downtown bit, but couldn't work out how that related to the Saw Doctors. Is the postcode N17 generally referred to as downtown by the locals then? /not_a_Londoner
  8. Randon comparison of the week there Are you a Petula Clark fan then? Petula Clark? Now I'm really lost.
  9. Go by yourself, I can guarantee by the end of the weekend you'll have a bunch of new friends.
  10. This. I do it every time as a matter of course, and have done for years.

    Run.
  12. Listening to this 'tune', I suspect there's a good reason for that.
  13. Is that a duct I see in the stepped nose on the RB8? Looks significantly different to the other stepped noses we've seen so far, and interesting to see they've not gone the way of McLaren.
  14. You can weld it inside, if you were using a bolt-through one you'd want to mount that under the chassis. At least, that's my understanding of the system, if you're still unsure contact the MSA for clarification.
  15. How many people can you get in the porker then That's what I mean: If carrying people isn't a consideration, I would never consider buying a 4-seater. And mine's a 2+2 so that doesn't count Counts even less atm as I've removed the rear seats altogether, GT3-style
  16. MANLY MAN IS MANLY That's what I did with the Impreza this morning, even though I couldn't get actually get it off the drive any way despite repeated attempts. RE070s are not great in the snow
  17. Paper Planes was good, but that's just noise.
  18. Should read Focus ST < 350Z really There's a couple of folks on here that have done the switch both ways, but however good the ST is (and I'm not knocking it, it's a fantastic all-round hot hatch), it's still basically a warm shopping trolley. Nothing can quite compare to a 2-seat sports coupe with a huge lump up front and RWD. As as only car to ferry the family around in I'd be tempted by an ST (in the orange, please!) but for a car where carrying people isn't an issue then it would be the Zed every time.
  19. N17? I had no idea you were a Saw Doctors fan Dave!
  20. Technically that is an opinion, albeit a harsh one
  21. You're better off not running a plate than having an illegally spaced one. True story. IMHO if you can't for whatever reason buy a plate that doesn't need altering, then don't buy it in the first place. At the best that one says MBH N H anyway.
  22. HBTY HBTY HBDD HBTY
  23. We pay employees if they can't get in or are sick or have to leave work early for whatever reason. In return they work late at short notice and without breaks if things go awry. Give and take and all that.
  24. Speaking of driving in the snow, people are in general complete idiots. Just been outside to empty the bin and there's some spacktard driving down the road in his Golf, which normally wouldn't be an issue if we didn't have 6" (I measured it) of snow on the ground! It's highly unlikely he had studded tyres on, so he's not only risking his own car but also other people's if he looses control and slips across into a parked car. A little dusting yes, that's fine, go drive, but when it really is this bad what the crap are people doing driving out on a Sunday FFS?!
  25. http://www.lotusf1team.com/ Lotus F1 car countdown, far too cool. You need to see this before 17:00 else it'll disappear and be replaced with another fugly F1 car
