  1. Don't worry too much about doing anything exciting, half the fun comes from learning about what each custodian does in a day-to-day thing too
  2. I've got a temper orange bumper sitting here I could possibly help you out with. It does have a couple of marks on it, but it's in significantly better condition than that one is! Let me know, I'll shoot you some pics over if interested.
  3. What does Be Shot mean then? Genuine query, not picking at you

It doesn't have driving lights. It has DRLs. Must admit I preferred the original bumper too with the fangs, this new one looks a bit like generic bumper 101 to me. Vastly prefer the new wheels though, far more dynamic than the gen1 wheels.
  5. Tbh it's probably a bit different for us as there's only 7 of us altogether, and three of us are related too. I guess that makes things a bit easier, but the other guys are as much our friends as they are our employees and we all get stuck in together through the good & bad times. I guess our relaxed approach wouldn't work in a company of 250+ as you'd get stuck with the p*ss takers, but no-one here is like that at all. Wouldn't last long if they were!
  6. That would be amazing, do you need me to get any sizes for it?
  7. Best so far tbh. Ooh, also had to put the small print on that first page too, nothing major just covers my arse
  8. No fear, I've moved Rich to the bottom and you to the top for now, so you'll actually get him next week Zedabee is a bit clever, nice one. I was thinking along the lines of VeeKew myself (think about it) but decided it didn't really suit the little fella.
  9. I just did a little sick in my mouth
  10. Righty-o, first post now edited with a list of people who made it clear they wanted a go, anyone else wants adding then shout up. Rich, you happy being next or did you want to be moved to later on? He's here with me at work today, and he shall shortly be taking his first adventure...
  11. To be fair he's actually right, even a set of ditchfinders would be more useful in the snow than the RE070s, deeply tread they are not!
  12. I got the downtown bit, but couldn't work out how that related to the Saw Doctors. Is the postcode N17 generally referred to as downtown by the locals then? /not_a_Londoner
  13. Randon comparison of the week there Are you a Petula Clark fan then? Petula Clark? Now I'm really lost.
  14. Go by yourself, I can guarantee by the end of the weekend you'll have a bunch of new friends.
  15. This. I do it every time as a matter of course, and have done for years.
  16. Listening to this 'tune', I suspect there's a good reason for that.
  17. Is that a duct I see in the stepped nose on the RB8? Looks significantly different to the other stepped noses we've seen so far, and interesting to see they've not gone the way of McLaren.
  18. You can weld it inside, if you were using a bolt-through one you'd want to mount that under the chassis. At least, that's my understanding of the system, if you're still unsure contact the MSA for clarification.
  19. How many people can you get in the porker then That's what I mean: If carrying people isn't a consideration, I would never consider buying a 4-seater. And mine's a 2+2 so that doesn't count Counts even less atm as I've removed the rear seats altogether, GT3-style
  20. MANLY MAN IS MANLY That's what I did with the Impreza this morning, even though I couldn't get actually get it off the drive any way despite repeated attempts. RE070s are not great in the snow
  21. Paper Planes was good, but that's just noise.
  22. Should read Focus ST < 350Z really There's a couple of folks on here that have done the switch both ways, but however good the ST is (and I'm not knocking it, it's a fantastic all-round hot hatch), it's still basically a warm shopping trolley. Nothing can quite compare to a 2-seat sports coupe with a huge lump up front and RWD. As as only car to ferry the family around in I'd be tempted by an ST (in the orange, please!) but for a car where carrying people isn't an issue then it would be the Zed every time.
  23. N17? I had no idea you were a Saw Doctors fan Dave!
  24. Technically that is an opinion, albeit a harsh one
