  1. Are they full coilovers, or separate dampers/springs at the rear as per OEM? I reckon a couple of hundred quid would be about right, could be a fair amount of ballache involved. Don't forget to budget for an alignment afterwards, too.
  2. Were they not coilovers from the factory then? If so, why do the new ones foul the wheels but the old ones didn't? And get those bloody awful neons out of that footwell, ya chav! Aside from that mate, it's looking really good.
  3. I learnt the hard way that if you want a car with FI, just buy one with it in the first place. Unless you like a lot of tinkering and fettling of course, in which case they can be great projects.

    Geneva 2012

I really need to drive one of those. Monkey Harris is getting a drive later on today, so hopefully by the end of play today or maybe tomorrow we should have an idea of what it drives like. Lambo Aventador J is bonkers but now my most desired item ever, and the Bentley SUV is just too ugly for words.
  5. Have a search, loads of info on this around here.
  6. I don't mind one team running away with it, I just want qualy to be a little closer which should make the race more of a battle. Still, it looks like Ferrari are going to be gash for the first few races which is great news
  7. Tarmac, are you sure that rear lateral brace doesn't fit? I only ask I had what looks like the exact same bit fitted to mine, and that was running both a K1 and the stock exhaust. I had no issues fitting that at all, at least with the Summit stuff.
  8. I win Dave To be fair though, the early blades were awful, and the Bosch ones are the first I've come across that were good enough to make me leave the PIAA ones behind. I'd exclusively used them for years, but I don't regret the swap now.
  9. Autobulbsdirect.co.uk Bosch retrofit Aero blades are awesome
  10. Awesome Great shot over the river
  11. What, by avoiding an argument in public? Yup, that really makes me the bad guy here, doesn't it? Tell you what, I'll apologise for all my comments if you apologise for going off on one after mis-reading my original post. Fair?
  12. Not sure, I guess that the multicar should revert to a single car automatically and that the insurance co should handle that. Have you spoke to them yet?
  13. Ok well being saying to a woman that it must be her 'time of the month' even in jest may have been ok in the 70's but these days is just plain offensive. That constructive enough? You're quite right Dave, it is. But then, is it any worse than referring to the testosterone flying around, when I don't actually think it was relevant to the point anyone was trying to make? I posted that deliberately to make a point, and it would seem that it was taken in exactly the right context. That said, I apologise if it offended any of the other sprinkles we've got on here, genuinely wasn't mean like that. And as for being a *****, you're spot-on. I consider it to be a badge of honour, more than anything!
  14. My reply: GO *UCK YOURSELF EKONA!!! Love you too darling Posting up PMs is a big no-no too, is it not? Tbh Val if you want to go public I don't care, I was just trying to keep the forum a nicer place but hey ho.
  15. I can do constructive, just not when I'm being attacked for no reason. Anyway, I've sent Val a PM so hopefully we can keep this spat out of the public forum.
  16. Woah, someone's got their panties in a bunch. Chill out, as Keyser correctly says I was ripping it out of that website, not you. Blimey, must be that time of the month.* *Before you get arsey about that too, it's only meant in jest as a riposte to your testosterone comment, neither of which have any relevance at all to the subject of air filters or my comment. I don't care if you've a pair on your chest or between your legs really, sex is irrelevant on the interweb. Unless you mean those sites, in which case it's the best thing about it.
  17. If a private sale then no. Caveat Emptor and all that.
  18. No-one catch the Leeds vs Southampton game? I know we lost, but we absolutely battered them from start to finish and not too many teams will do that to the league leaders. Besides, you get days where you can dominate a game and still lose, just as long as there isn't too many of them! Hopefully Warnock can inspire the team to perform above their stations next year, provided he gets the backing from Bates.

    Opinions?

    More vile chav stuck-on tat.
  20. I've never seen a wrap that looked good up close. At some point, you have to have join lines and no matter how hard you try to cover these up (putting them on sides that face down, or on the in side of door handles etc) they are always there and once you see them, it always looks awful. From a distance they're fine, and certainly cheaper than a decent paint job, but it's not something I'd ever consider as a realistic alternative unless it was for a one-off like a show or a LeMans trip or something.
  21. Convertible roofs - Annual greasing of the mechanism is highly recommended Wheels - Tyres should be the correct sizes too Oils & fluids - be worth putting up exactly what the correct specs are, although I don't have them to hand any more.
  22. Doing the maths, that would equate to a RFL cost for me of just over £1900 a year, or roughly 4x what I pay now. The really sad/mad thing is that I'd pay without missing a beat. I love my cars so much that they will have to prise my keys from my cold dead hands before I give up the stuff I really love. I can't say that it wouldn't hurt to lose that money, but I'd find a way.
  23. Fair enough, that's not how it came across though. Apology accepted, and I retract my statement.
