  1. The 918 system has nothing to do or in common with the Audi E-Tron tech in the slightest, and the same goes for the Ferrari stuff. Completely different departments, only connection is the mother company. Don't be fooled by any press stuff trying to indicate otherwise
  2. It's not inviting someone in, it's just bloody common sense. This isn't the 60's any more.
  3. It's grown on me, but it's no looker. It's got a 'tache and slitty eyes, which aren't good looks on Italian sports cars. Cabin is quite nice, though.
  4. Maybe the bloke would be better off spending that £2k on some locks for his front door that actually work? Seriously, why you would spend all that money on CCTV and then not even bother to lock your doors is just crazy and asking for trouble. Also, I don't think the reward is legit, that video has been doing the rounds all week and this is the first I've seen mention of either reward, crowbar or toddler.
  5. Offer £50 and work your way up.
  6. They're my favourite kind of fish, y'know. /random
  7. Great looking brochure mate, but you do realise there's a spelling mistake in there?
  8. It'll sound better if they get rid of that nasty flat plane crank Couldn't care less really, modern day Ferraris leave me cold unless it's got a nice V12 in it, and even then it's only the noise not the car that I enjoy. I can see why people buy them, but they're not for me.
  9. Cheers, where do you get oem discs from ? How much are they? Nissan, and I've no idea. Give a few local ones a call and haggle them down.
  10. Heh, they said exactly the same to me about my toes, and I haven't been able to touch them either since I was about 2 years old!
  11. Bloody cloggers.
  12. You can do better brakes at the front than the rear, but not the opposite unless you want some interesting characteristics under braking. As such, I'd stick with OEM pads and discs at the rear unless your fronts need doing soon too, in which case I'd swap the lot out for something better for cheaper.
  13. It's only because I rarely bet, but I had a few quid on the Dutch to win the bloody thing Still, they can lose tonight and still go through, so not all over yet...
  14. You're just lucky I didn't take a photo
  15. As above. Cut, repair, refill.
  16. Where is it blowing? Assuming its the connection by the backbox or on a flexi joint, then a £50 weld will see you right. You could go for a full replacement system, but if you're happy with what you've got then a repair will sort it.
  17. Surely the 370 can go anywhere, like the 350 could? I thought it was only the GT-R that was limited to NHPCs?
  18. If it was a 350, then I'd list the obvious faults of TADTS and clutch master/slave cylinder failure, but on a 370?
  19. Quick update with good and bad news. Start with the bad, which involved me reading a thread on PH earlier and laughing so hard I twinged my back something chronic, which hurt more than a little Was trying to go a whole day without painkillers, so that screwed that up nicely. On the upside, I managed my first poo today, which wasn't too painful although I was very careful not to strain! Still stuck in bed too, although my infrequent walks are getting easier which I'm very glad for, certainly feels like an improvement on before the op
  20. I'd pay between 11 to 12 for it. How many services has it had, and where?
  21. Top update, especially the bit about trucks!
  22. BOOM HEADSHOT
  23. You keep changing your username, so no one can remember what it is
  24. I would advise against any kind of decat then. Stick with a decent exhaust system instead.
  25. Cayman R is where the safe money is going right now. Limited supply, truly great cars, and deals can be had if you're flexible on spec.
