Interesting, I wonder if they're going to set this in a European city then? Clearly not Glasgow as otherwise they'd be sending the stars over too and doing proper filming, but maybe somewhere on the continent perhaps? Can't see why they'd shoot there instead of the US otherwise.

It's just an alignment issue. Not something that would worry me as it can easily be corrected, but in terms of tyre wear and how the car is going to feel to drive, it's not great.

That would be my take on it too. Assuming the BRZ86 takes off, they'll produce an S-car and ditch the Z-cars for now. No point trying to sell a car no-one wants to buy.

That's my point though, it won't be enough. As has said, it either needs to be an S-car or go significantly up market to justify the cost.

Autoexpress are useless. It'll probably weigh 600kg and have a W12 now. It needs to either be cheaper or more upmarket, or the global economy needs to get much better. Just dropping cylinders and the CO2 output won't make a Z car sell. The 350Z was bang on the money when it came out, and even though the 370Z is better in every measurable way it's just not what people want now. Nissan will be watching the BRZ86 (and seeing if the new MX-5 goes FWD to a lesser extent) very closely to see whether it's even worth the bother making a new Z car.

It'll be fine. I used it on the Zed as a pre-cleaner by hand and had no issues at all.

^^^Yeah, that. If you want an understeery car then Steve's settings are ideal, but you don't know what his other suspension settings are like: If they're super aggressive, then it might not be as bad as it looks.

I ran them stiffest rear and softest front as I wanted the car to become more lively, but I adjusted my geo setup to take that into account: If I'd gone for those settings out of the box I think I'd have ended up ditchward!

S4 won't oversteer. Ever. It's an Audi, that's what they do. Exaggeration, of course, but held in truth. As per the factory setup, an Audi will understeer significantly and you'd need to engineer that out with some aggressive geo settings. Don't get too hung up on LSDs, they're not that important if the car was designed not to have one.

E60 M5. SMGII box is fine pootling, leave it in the slowest setting and it's as smooth as an auto. Crank the speed up and put it into manual and it's manic. I wouldn't even consider anything else at that price and that type of car, the V10 is a work of art.
