As good a place for this as any, hopefully someone here will have a bit more knowledge on this than I do! I've got a small piece (A5 size) of 2mm thick carbon fibre that I need to first of all cut to size, and then I need to cut a section of it out so I can fit something in there as well as mounting other bits to it. Never having worked with the stuff before, what's the best tools to use for this and how likely am I to crack it or just completely **** it up? My theory would be to cut it using a dremel or similar, and the same again to take the section inside out. What about using self-tapping screws? Is that okay, or do I need to be drilling it and using a nut and bolt? What about gluing something to it: Superglue okay, or resin or a silicone-based product? Any hints and tips would be great, thanks.

My old man owns a Hummer H2. He has no issues parking inside regular size car park spaces. If he can do it, then anyone can and there is zero excuse for it. The height of the thing is a different story, and renders every multistory car park unusable!

I've had second thoughts about the ad and have amended it to remove the line in question. My justification for it being there originally still stands, but the more I think about what Sarnie is saying the more I think he's correct. Cheers for the honesty mate

I had the exact same thought myself Sarnie, and almost left it out. I left it in though as I didn't want people to think I'm taking the p*ss on the price just for a laugh, and that it was a considered thought. That said, if no-one bites in a couple of weeks I may remove it to see if that makes any difference.

Thanks chaps, I've never actually written a car ad before and it took me longer than I thought it would if honest. Hopefully it reads ok, I just kinda put in what I'd want to see in an ad.

Heh, I was trying to work the same thing out the other week myself, as I bought Jo an RB top and fancied a team one myself. Like you, couldn't decide if I like McLaren or Lewis, but decided it was actually the driver I followed and not the team. Glad I didn't grab a Lewis one now! Well well, looks like I was completely wrong about Lewis not moving to Mercedes and EJ being a one-man PR team. I'd love to know what Ross Brawn said to Lewis to convince him, must've been pretty special.

The more I use my 5, the more I like it. I really wasn't keen on the extra length at first (fnarr), but then again I hated the shape of the 4 after using the 3GS for so long and yet it did eventually grow on me. The fact they've kept the girth the same (fnarr!) does help, although I'm still waiting for the first batch of apps to actually make use of the extra real estate.

Plenty of QD and a microfibres for me. The more liquid, the less chance of scraping the bird crap into your paintwork IMHO.
