  1. Trouble is, where do you join the lines? For example being in Essex would mean I'd happily pop to Herts or Suffolk for a meet, so maybe you'd tag those together. However on a nice day or for the right meet I'd happily go to Sussex or Surrey or Norfolk, so you'd have to include those too. But then people in Norfolk might not travel as far as Sussex full stop, so it's pointless including those in a section together: Grouping only works for the individual, not en-masse. The only way to do it is to encourage people to subscriber to each area they're interested in, and just accept they're going to miss a few things. Can you even subscribe per sub-forum on here? I don't know. *EDIT* Yes you can, I just checked.
  2. I'll believe it when I see it. By which I mean I'll never see it. Put it this way, if the next GT-R goes further upmarket that'll push it into the £100K band. That means this high power version of the Z35 would need to fill the £60-80k segment, like the R35 did/does right now. Still interested? I'm not, not with an autobox and a V6.
  3. Same as Kyle then, so at least that's consistent.
  4. Nah, I'm totally ex-communicado on that front now after my rant a few years back, so I'm definitely just a regular member now
  5. Could be an F40, but it's a weird angle if so.
  6. Just needs settings changing then on the forum, your user group must be set to allow start but not reply. Any other REOs got the same issue?
  7. You mean you cannot post in Announcements at all, or you can't start a new thread?
  8. We don’t even know what tyres they’re are. If 453 then yeah they’re budget but okay, if 912 then they need binning as you’re starting from too low a baseline. JP is right though, take everything back to stock geo and pinpoint exactly what you don’t like. Ultimately you’re losing traction because you’re putting down too much power for the tyres to cope with, so either remove right foot or add more grip with better rubber.
  9. I hate change, but I think this is a very good idea. Well done to all for making a brave step forward by going back, IYSWIM. Genuinely, not being sarcastic.
  10. Or a Mini, everything has those headlights!
  11. I'm a sad git Two secs, I'll go find a pic.
  12. My first thought, until I remembered that F1s only have two rear lights. Has to be an Ultima if it's three?

  14. Perhaps, but it's not like you can't do the exact same thing just flexing your ankle a bit less. Plus it's not like the throttle on the 350 is particularly snappy.

    Manfoot, I'm pinching that!
  16. It's fun for three minutes, then you realise you lose precise modulation of the throttle so the car actually becomes harder to control on the corners. I had one for a bit, then binned it when I realised the illusion was doing more harm than good. I really don't recommend them any more.
  17. I figured I’d let someone else mention tyres for a change
  18. Braided lines are definitely a plus (and cheap too), then I would change the pads for something you know to be decent. If the discs are okay then leave them be: My current preference is to use reasonably cheap discs and spend the cash on the pads instead. Obvs if you have the money then get some awesome discs as well, but personally I feel you see more benefit from pads than discs pound for pound. In terms of pads, I'd go for the Performance Friction 01 pads on the front and their Z-rated pads on the back. I've had personal experience with these and have found nothing better on road and track, although please check they've not updated their part codes in the last few years! And I really wouldn't worry about putting the 'closed roads' thing on here, no-one's fooled for a minute Just put 'repeated high speed stops' or something equally vague but informative, as at least that way you're not leaving yourself open for prosecution as well as a telling off from the mods
  19. If you want a fast car, follow the rules: First make it stop, then make it handle, then make it go. If you sort your brakes out then you can carry much more speed that you currently do, then do your suspension so you can corner quicker so waste less speed, then worry about power. The Zed has more than enough grunt as stock, you just need to maximise the weak points (brakes and suspension) to really make the most of it.
  20. Oi I liked that wing Got a couple of ideas for the next car, but I’m in no hurry so we’ll see what turns up.
  21. Now I know you’re trolling!
