  1. Simplest answer is often the right one
  2. Get a bunch of Mexicans to build a new wall?
  3. Nuke the entire site from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
  4. Amazon prime a dremel then, and pop to Travis etc to get some cement to fill it with. Or you could just use some resin tbh, they’re small enough.
  5. Dremel down, fill the hole so you can’t see it. Job’s a carrot.
  6. And you realise that’s the EXACT same info as the Autocar article? It’s like they just waited a few months, then copy + pasted it into their own format. So really, it’s not even remotely close to confirming anything.
  7. I’ll believe it when I see it. 400bhp seems a massive power jump, unless it’s a much bigger and heavier car and needs the extra oomph... And 4WD in the Nismo version? Absolutely no chance
  8. Any person still using the word Yo, and brave enough to open a thread with it as the title, is alright by me
  9. FWIW I was always a bit unsure about the effectiveness of the TBM, until I cheaped out one day and used just the one bucket on my old car immediately prior to sale as someone was coming to look at it unannounced. The wrap went from still flawless to noticeable swirls in one sitting: I was gutted, and although no one normal would probably notice the difference, once you’re into making your car look good it stuck out like a sore thumb. Always, always, always TBM. It really does make a huge difference! Although I get that your back is stuffed and it’s awkward to do, if you can you’ll notice the difference. If you really can’t, then you need to be looking at getting a proper coating on there imho as at least that’ll be a bit harder to mark up, plus washing time is MASSIVELY reduced so the TBM takes a fraction of the time (like half, in my experience).
  10. Stupid fusking rule. As always, the ACO trying their best to fix the racing. Still wish I was there though, not the same watching it at home
  11. How are you converting to centrelock on the hub?
  12. http://www.envycarcare.co.uk/shop/finishing/speed-gloss/ That’s all you need. Foam the car, wash the car, then whilst it’s still wet spray this stuff on using your foam lance. Leave for 5-10mins, then rinse off and walk away. No need to even touch the damn car, and it lasts for aaaaages too. Chuck it on the whole car, including wheels. One of the best products I’ve ever used both in terms of finish and I-can’t-be-arsed-today-ness

    Best MPSS prices

Move to MPS4, much better and more available.
  14. You say it shouldn’t be the wheel balancing, have you had it checked?
  15. Pfft peanuts Also we do it posh, you could well do it for much less, I just wouldn’t want to Although I’m not a plumber any more so can’t afford to go this year, not that I want to until they sort the mess that is LMP1 out.
  16. Indeed, just ask your insurer. However, the answer is that no, the clock does not reset. Now fess up and tell us what speed you were doing!
  17. Always buy on condition and not on mileage, so you're already on the ball there as far as I'm concerned. Ultimately you're just going to have to do as much due diligence as you can and go with the evidence in front of you, as even if a private seller says that they never rag the car from cold who's to say they're telling the truth? At least you have comeback when you buy from a trader, whereas it's much harder to prove what a private seller said unless you ask them to write it down. Traders also bluff, so I wouldn't say one source is more reliable than the other. Look at the car, look at the history and look at the seller (both private and trade), and make your own call. Unfortunately there's no right or wrong answer here, plenty of people have been caught out by both sources. Do your research, go with your gut. But don't buy from Junction 17. Ever.
  18. We need more details here, as that's very odd that you have to reapply for your licence again: That usually only happens in medical cases, but they're usually bans for 12 months or longer. What's actually happened, and what paperwork have you been given?
  19. Because regardless of what they say, that's not normal and is definitely excessive. That's an awful lot of oil to be using, and you have to think about where it's going. If every single engine used that much then fine, it's by design, but it's only dodgy Revup or very worn engines that do so you have to take the logical view and realise that's way too much. These are modern engines, not Italian lumps from the 1970's. And is it not 1L/1000KM, so a fair bit more than 1L/1000mi?
  20. A better one would find a way to do that without putting chemicals into your fuel system...
  21. Could be a person from the Newcastle area stuck under the accelerator.
  22. What's a 'wor' noise? As in it sounds like someone saying "WORRRRRRRR!"?
  23. NEVER mix across an axle, ever. So yes, swap them both over, bearing in mind the general rules about mixing tyres front to rear as well.
  24. Def not something I’d risk at all.
  25. Reasonably high then, but not excessive. Assuming it hasn’t changed recently, I’d leave the oil alone but start saving for the engine work that’s required sooner rather than later.
