  1. Tbh if I was tuning remotely, I’d go super-conservative too.
  2. Quite a few HFC owners do fail MOT, yes. Not all, but a proportion big enough that personally I’d either stay OEM cats or go full decat and swap back once a year.
  3. I still don’t think we’ll ever see a new Zed tbh. Too big an investment and I can’t see them being competitive with rivals to sell enough.
  4. Lewis in his last year at McLaren drove into a few people, just ask Button and Massa
  5. It’s not in their terms: I checked. You were either lied to, or you confused them.
  6. Surely it’ll be the 300Z if it comes like this?
  7. Seriously?! No windscreen is always much better, try back to back in a Caterham with and without screen to prove it.
  8. But Lewis can be like that too when he’s not winning, so I’m not judging Seb too harshly. At least he’s not an utter bellend when away from the circuit like Lewis is!
  9. No they won’t, but they will reduce it based on your mileage limit so try that instead. As before, they can’t cancel your insurance based on whether it’s SORN or not so don’t worry about that.
  10. Looks odd on 18”s. Can you imagine the cost if they tried to bring that to market? It’d be silly money.
  11. FYI I got bored and had a look myself. There’s nothing in them at all about cancelling if you SORN, so they can’t do that. I suspect they’ve got confused when you told them about the car being laid up, as they don’t do laid up policies at all. I’m the first person to say that you should tell your insurer everything, but I wouldn’t dream (and never have) of telling mine if I was sorning the car for a bit. Personally I’d look at simply reducing the mileage limit to the minimum they offer to reduce the cost, and then go with that. Or just carry on using it, it’s just a car after all and a modern one at that, it’ll be fine. How much was the policy overall, and are you paying monthly?
  12. Nah I quite like Vettel as a person and a driver, and I would like to see him win a title with Ferrari. I just don’t like Ferrari as a team
  13. Post up their ts and cs where it says this, as that sounds very odd.
  14. You'd like a house brick if they stuck a Ferrari badge on it though I'm surprised it took you over a month to post up, although I will concede the SP2 is possibly the prettiest Ferrari ever and my current motoring nirvana.
  15. Delighted for Lewis, sad for Vettel, secretly pleased at Ferrari's failure, disgusted by Toyota and sorrow for LM next year as they still don't have any competition.
  16. I’m guessing because Scotland, and it’s a long way for most of your market to travel. Whilst the car may not be to my taste, I can’t fault the quality of the advert in the slightest and the price seems reasonable enough to me. Ultimately though price is everything, and you may need to drop it if you want a quicker sale. I genuinely wish you all the best with it, you seem like a decent and level-headed person to deal with
  17. I can’t see the door cams making production, given you currently must have wing mirrors to pass MOT. Be a bit odd to produce a car that you can’t drive over here!
  18. Sadly for many, it probably will. I’ll never understand people who just buy based on the badge.
  19. So it’ll be exactly like the Z4, but the roof doesn’t come off. I’m struggling to see any attraction here at all, unless it massively undercuts the Bmw. Which it won’t.
  20. Definitely, unreliable nowadays isn’t a patch compared to unreliable in yesteryear. I’ve said for ages you can’t buy a genuinely rubbish car any more, even the pikiest of Dacias is still rock solid.
  21. Nope, not in the slightest. That’s almost half the charm.
