  1. That was the edited diplomatic version!
  2. Did you take those pics with a potato?! Really you need to get a pic of the decats, if indeed it does have decats. What code is the CEL producing? And what are you ultimately after? I’m not sure there’s an actual question in your post...
  3. Brexit is anything but on course...!
  4. And please don't take my use of the word amateur to be offensive, I mean it purely as an opposite of being done in a lab in scientific conditions. I know you know that, but just for clarity so no-one thinks I'm being an arse
  5. So in shock news, amateur detailer posts up amateur real-world test and the manufacturer is then surprised that it was conducted in an amateur way? Well, I am utterly shocked by that.
  6. I like to keep people on their toes every now and then, I find it makes them even warier of me
  7. You don't have to find sources that prove the opposite view of your argument: What we're asking for is something factual that supports your view point.
  8. Thank you. That makes for a much more reasonable counter-argument, however it does not state any sources to back up your claims, so ultimately isn't very helpful. If you wish to present a different side to a story, then it's up to you to provide evidence not for us to find it for you. And given that list says the BBC is the 4th most trusted brand in the world, and how often the BBC itself is criticised for both left and right-leaning articles, I'm not convinced it's very helpful.
  9. Okay, so instead of telling him his source is wrong how about countering with some actual data of your own? Otherwise your argument is no better than his.
  10. HAHAHAHA YES HE HAS B&Q BUCKETS!!!
  11. Genuinely not fussed about a EuroArmy either way tbh. It's waaaaaaay down my agenda on things that bother me. Now being stuck with a backstop that's conditional on both sides agreeing to it, that's spectacularly dreadful. I don't think there's any way around it either, not sensibly. The more I look at Brexit, the more I think you might as well go hard if you're going to do it properly, and then deal with the fallout. At this rate if the existing pre-deal does get passed by both sides (highly unlikely atm) then the markets will hate it regardless, so I don't think we'll be any better off.
  12. And I bet the flash bastard isn't even using the orange B&Q buckets!!!!11
  13. Oh, he’s a radio host. Not really sure why he’s relevant to the conversation tbh, he’s just another media outlet that people can choose to believe or not.
  14. Who is this Alex Jones? Never heard of him. Is he important?
  15. That’s easily sorted...
  16. Meh, the guy saved two huge companies from the scrap heap, let him have his extras on the side.
  17. Guys, stop with the insults and petty bickering. It’s pathetic, and is the reason these threads get locked. You all all have good points, so use them to make your argument rather than sniping at each other please.
  18. This. A million times this. If people cannot be bothered to look for the information, or (and this is quite likely from those that may or may not be of the kind that cannot be arsed to search for themselves) are simply too stupid to understand it, then what more can we do? We live in an age where anything and everything is available to us in terms of information, we cannot force people to read it.
  19. I can say we voted because we did. There was enough information out there to make a reasoned choice, however I believe that most people did not bother to avail themselves of that (and that goes for both sides!). It was no different to every single General Election, where every time millions of people choose who to run the country based on nothing more than their parents hating a woman who hasn’t been in power in a generation, or because there was once a rough winter even further back when people went on strike a bit. It’s pathetic, and is exactly why the current political system doesn’t really work. People are idiots. What we really need is a benevolent dictatorship, not more votes.
  20. There should be no extra vote. The people of this country have already proved once they’re not capable of making a reasoned decision, why give them a second go at doing the same? I voted Remain, but I’d vote Leave if we ran again tomorrow. Just on principle really, I believe that one referendum is enough and we’re not all Scottish and feel the need to keep asking the same question until we get an answer we like. Brexit was always going to be a short-term clusterf*ck. I do believe that regardless of result this country will be better off in maybe 20-30 years time, but in the immediate 10 years or so we’d be screwed. I still hold that view.
  21. Depends on the kit and how it’s mapped. But it if you’re asking if a DE engine can handle 350bhp, the answer is yes. Just be aware you may struggle to insure NOS these days, as many insurers won’t touch it any more. Never mind getting hold of the stuff...!
  22. Show cars are almost exclusively kept in the garage, and the ten or twelve days they’re outside per year won’t show damage in a year or so.
  23. I think it would be very quick and easy to clean those wheels, tbh. I'd use this process: 1. Fill 2x buckets with warm water and mild detergent. 2. Get ready with 1x soft wheel brush, 1x detail brush and 1x soft microfibre. 3. Set up a hose with an adjustable spray nozzle, and set the aperture to approx 35deg exit angle. 4. Lightly mist the wheels with pure water. 5. Realise that you're now looking directly at them, that they're f***ing hideous, then quickly rip them off the damn car and chuck them in the bin. 6. Put some decent wheels on, and book Specsavers asap as clearly you need to if you bought those wheels in the first place.
  24. Clearly don't heel n toe Please don't make assumptions when you have zero evidence to back it up. Again, I still say you've got it the wrong way round. I can heel n toe in anything, and will always endeavour to do so to save drive-train wear, and I know for a fact I can be a damn sight more relaxed about the process in a diesel Vauxhall Omega or Ford Ranger than I had to be in a VX220 or my track-prepped mk3 MR2. In the sharper cars you need to be more accurate and quicker about the process otherwise you'll lose the revs or overshoot them, whereas in something more barge-like you can take a bit more time. Heel n toeing isn't just for when you're driving 10/10ths, it's a skill that should be used all the time whenever possible to aid smooth driving.
