  1. Safety schmafety. When in doubt, flat out.
  2. It sounds cool just sat there with zero ignition. Such a shame that we’ll never really see one turn a wheel in anger. Imagine a one-make series of those, or up against the Merc-AMG One in a two-make series... Come on ACO, change the LM regs to get these in there!
  3. I’m voting for Stormhorsegirlthing as leader. Whatever it was, it was a breath of fresh air!
  4. It's always been like this though, the young shout loudly about not getting what they want but they can never be arsed to do anything about it, aside from long marches with big placards. Brexit isn't unique in that at all, and it shouldn't come as a surprise to the yoof when things don't go the way that the big polls of the day say.
  5. As @StevoD pointed out to me yesterday, once you've seen that bonnet shut line then it's game over.
  6. Not at all. It was sitting around 129/139 P/D a month or so back, now as Steve says the Shell near me is 121/130 as of last night.
  7. Good ol' Sturgeon, still clinging on in there to that dream! Can't say I blame her in fairness, after all that goal is the only reason she has a job really. I've no issues with the SNP putting forward plans for IndyRef2 in about 20-30 years time whatsoever, although you'd think that one look at the mess Brexit is causing and they might well want to think again. If the UK is going to struggle in the world on its own, then you can only imagine how difficult it would be for a country with the relative limits of Scotland (and I mean that with no disrespect, before G-Man jumps on me). I genuinely fear for any country that does not have the resources of the USA or China striking out on their own. I'd also have no problem with a Reverse-Brexit Vote 2 in another 20-30 years, btw.
  8. What the hell is wrong with you? No-one has said that at all. And having someone die for their country doesn't give them more or less of a say on this matter, or any matter come to think of it. We're all entitled to a viewpoint, and even if our family did or didn't serve or did or didn't have cancer or can trace our roots back 20 mins or 2000 years is utterly irrelevant. Your whole "Well you better leave then mate, bloody foreigners etc" attitude is utterly repulsive, and tbh it's really not the kind of attitude we expect from members on here. Nor decent people in general, tbh.
  9. *nicks the big metal rod and does a runner*
  10. Bullet, pipe down with your aggressive posting or you'll find yourself removed from this thread. By all means make your points, but stop with the childish insults please. Your numbers were wrong, just hold your hands up and say you didn't realise instead of trying to shout louder. This is an internet forum, not Parliament!
  11. What a waste of time that was.
  12. Lower the pressures to compensate?
  13. Why though? I don’t understand why someone who this would seriously affect doesn’t feel comfortable sharing those opinions on here, it’s not like you’re a newbie who we’d tear to shreds
  14. Slicks it is then. Pointless running anything less.
  15. Celica the most popular used coupe on the market? I’d suggest the BMW 3 series says hi.
  16. What tyres are you using now? What power levels are you at? And how much do you hate your drivetrain? But yes, if you're only on regular tyres then any semi-slick will massively improve your launches. Proper slicks even more so, but they take a little more effort to get right.
  17. As to why we should only have a single referendum on this issue, but we have continuous votes for the general elections, I would say that both are very different things. One is a single question on a single issue, to give a single solitary answer: It's not based on party politics, or on that of a single person. It's far more simple, and should not be asked more than once in a generation. Another is more general voting, one that most certainly comes down to party politics but also covers a vast spectrum of topics and issues that are perhaps less vital, less defining and something that can be changed from year to year if required. I think this is why some are saying that a second vote is undemocratic, not meaning it in a literal term but more because this was a very specific issue. I think I've probably used the term undemocratic in my posts about this, and maybe that's wrong. Maybe I actually just mean 'fair'. I don't consider it to be fair to keep voting over and over and over in a short space of time. Ask us again in 20 years if you like, I've no problem with that at all. I don't think we have any more information now than prior to the original referendum with regards to how damaging it will be to leave the EU: That was never really in question. Ultimately it more comes down to personal preference, and I very much doubt that a significant proportion of voters from either camp will have changed their minds after learning of what the deal entails. Do I have proof? Honestly, no I don't. It's a feeling from constant browsing and reading of various sites and news sources, and I may well be wrong. That's just how I view the whole thing. Is May's deal dreadful? No. It's exactly what we should've expected. That doesn't make it bad, that makes it realistic. It's more of the same, just more awkward and with more risk. Is a Hard Brexit going to be worse? Of course. It cannot be any other way. I hope that the politicians can find a way to smooth the waters before the ultimate deadline, but I doubt they will. I believe we're heading for a Hard Brexit, that very little can stop that now, and that we're going to suffer for years. But that's what we as a country voted for, and we will have to find a way to make the best of it. The best of a bad deal, if you will.
  18. I voted Remain, I’m in the same camp as you. However, I support democracy and the only clear vote we have had has had Leave as the winner, so that’s what should happen and be damned with the results. We cannot go around and say that the electorate has moved on and people need to put forward a reason to leave: We’ve done that. It’s how we leave now that’s important.
  19. Petrol is cheaper here now than it was a month ago, so I don’t see what the fuss is about.
  20. How do we know the electorate have moved on? The left made a massive noise on social media during the last election, and still Labour didn’t get into power. Just because there’s a lot of noise right now on BookFace of people calling for another vote, doesn’t mean that’s how the majority feel. I distintly remember everyone thinking Remain would be a landslide, due to that being how the internet said they were going to vote. That didn’t pan out well either.
  21. Don’t read it then? Jeez. Given its it’s going to shape your life for the next 20-30 years, it’s pretty important.
  22. If we can get German milk for cheaper than we can produce and sell for in this country, then that’s a big issue for our farmers they need to sort out ASAP. If they’re that overpriced then wtf are they doing?!
