  1. Indeed. This is a discussion board not product placement, after all.
  2. You must declare them if required on your insurance contract, else you run the risk of finding yourself uninsured.
  3. IMS definitely NOT fixed, but still just a 5-10% risk of it going. Bore scoring on the S much more troublesome, so always get them inspected regardless. As long as it’s fine, and again remembering that more mileage is better, buy and enjoy the finest sports coupe of the time. The IMS was only sorted on the 2009 Cayman S that did away with it entirely and moved to the DFi engines.
  4. Is there not a key operated switch for the pax airbag? Been a while since I’ve been in one tbh, could be imagining things.
  5. Turn it off regardless. I would.

    Wrap !

Hey I'm easy either way! And yes, I started that rumour too
  7. That’s cool, I can respect that opinion fella Let’s not forget I think the Eagle F1s are utterly shocking in the wet too, and am convinced the RE070 give better grip which just shouldn’t be the case (it is though)! What concerns me is how many of these tests by different mags come out with such drastically different results. I appreciate there’s always a human element taken into account with regards to feel, but when you look across the tests there’s very rarely a choice that tops them all.
  8. On a FWD scrabble wagon. I really don’t like the EVO tests for that reason alone, although I appreciate they need to appeal to the mass market. Can’t argue with the figures at all, I can only go from experience.

Snow foam and a regular wax is fine. Always use the TBM though as otherwise it’ll scratch horribly: Mine was immaculate for two years this way, then I had a buyer coming round last minute so gave it a very quick wash with a single bucket and there were score marks everywhere Never ever polish it. Ever. Don’t even put a compound bottle near it.
  10. The reason that a lot of high performance cars have P Zeros on from the factory is that Pirelli pay them a lot of money to do so
  11. No, they're dreadful things. I hate them in anything other than bone dry conditions. If you liked what you had before, why swap?
  12. Read the Sticky about mixed tyres, make up your own mind. But yes, you've created a huge instability in the car now with completely different tyres front to back, as well as new and old.
  13. It’ll look for any random device it can connect to. More likely your neighbour has bought a Roku recently, so don’t worry about it. You can check on your router what what devices have access to your WiFi, if you’re that worried you can filter by approved MAC addresses only.
  14. Refund? Or don’t go there again at least
  15. School did teach fiscal responsibility, basic maths means going into negative figures isn’t good and basic English helps with reading the small print. If you cant be bothered to read the small print, that’s your loss. Hell if you can’t even read then get the sales guy to read it out for you, make him earn his money.
  16. Ring up and get them to reduce it. I got 18mths cover with the RAC for £110 after I called them.
  17. Always read the small print, kids. If it says no mods, then don’t be surprised if they come calling when you mod it. IIRC VWFS did the same to a Leon owner a few years back.
  18. Surprised you didn't go for a dogleg 'box like the classic Fezzas of yore I like that

    TPMS is on.

Can you not reset it to turn it off?
  20. See I hate BTCC because it feels more like it's 'fixed', with all the reverse grid nonsense. Yes it's closer racing in that regard, but I just don't find it entertaining at all. Plus FWD scrabble wagons really aren't my cup of tea (yes I know there's some RWD stuff in there, but it's well outnumbered). Give me WEC any day of the week.

    Bit puzzled

Walk Call for recovery, I would imagine. That’s what I would do anyway.
