  1. None of them will increase, but the 981S will decrease the least I think. I can see a GT4 dropping £10k, esp if actually driven, but not a 981S dropping the same amount.
  2. Two for the price of one, I like it!
  3. No chance. They’ve been stagnant for ages now.
  4. Good question! Probably the £30K 981S, can't see that going too far south from there. The GTS is still top money, and the GT4 is going to be hurt by the 718 I think.
  5. Significantly better than I thought it might be. More chemistry between the three than on TG in the last 15 years, genuine humour without feeling forced, and I’m even enjoying the challenges. Albeit I've not seen last nights episode yet, but I’m looking forward to it which I’ve not done for years!
  6. Plus I don’t think I’ve ever seen my rear lights when driving...
  7. This is the most depressing post I’ve read in years. Ffs man this a forum about sports cars that are brilliant to drive, not about how poncy rear lights on an Audi or VW look in the dark!

Well what do they have it in? You can pretty much ignore the 91w bit tbh.
  9. Nah they’re done pretty much now.

I think they’re both awful shopping trolley tyres, but I’d still match the rears.
  11. If you go 997.1, don’t get the Bose option. Much like the 350, it’s dreadful.
  12. Does it look nice? Yes. Does it look like every other Golf ever on the roads? Also yes.

    Preferably match your rear tyres.
  14. It’s a Nissan, not a 1940s Ford
  15. Going back a bit, what hassle and costs does a 370z give you that the others won’t? S1 and GTi won’t be any cheaper to run, no idea on the Hyundai though.
  16. None of those cars have any road presence at all, which is almost the point of them. Which breaks rule no 3 What concerns me on your list mate is that it doesn’t remotely take into account ‘fun to actually drive’ at all. All value and looks. Might as well save your cash and just buy a 118d and put some pimpin’ wheels on it But as a serious answer, buy the Golf.
  17. 997.1 or .2? The Evora rides so much better than any 911, but the interior is a nightmare (stalks aren’t in the same postcode as the steering wheel!) plus build quality is typical lotus ie patchy at best. Also it’s a bit fugly. If you can get 997.2 then that’s where my money would go, but rear engined cars can take a while to get used to.
  18. You can't fix the IMS. You can replace it, but it will go again at some point, or it might never go. 5-10% chance either way, which is why it's better to buy a high mileage example 120K+ as they're very unlikely to go if they haven't done already.
  19. 2nd one, as it's a manual. The Tip 'box is awful to use. However I wouldn't be paying any more than £12K for it with that interior! If you want a 996, then get an early 3.4 as the IMS is a dual-row one and much less likely to go pop, plus less likely to suffer from bore scoring. You won't notice the reduction in power.
  20. The debate was a debacle, Johnson did well to avoid it and get dragged in. Live debates come GE time is a good idea as it's us who will be doing the voting, but for a party leadership contest I just don't see the point. Yes whoever wins will be our next PM and that's kinda important, but we have zero say in it (unless you're a member of the Tory party) so it seems a bit of a waste of time. As for who wins, if it's anyone other than BoJo it'll be a horrendous mistake. Like him or loathe him (and he's equally as divisive as Corbyn) he'll certainly be very different to what has come before and that might not be a bad thing, plus if anyone else wins then we'll end up with "But BoJo would've done X Y or Z much better!" for a few years. Might as well give him a crack and see what happens, if he cocks it all up then that's the end of his career and we'll never have to see him again Really the choice of Anyone But Boris or Boris is no different to Hilary or Trump: There's no winner here. No-one in power would've made a better job of Brexit, regardless of what colour tie they wear. It was always going to be a mess and we'll be picking up the pieces for ages.
  21. Including me It’s actually an interesting question, given Michelin’s sporty tyres tendency to have stiff sidewalls which exacerbate the issue of a poor ride using heavy wheels. That said, the Zeds are sports coupes which allows for a certain amount of compromise, so it won’t come as any surprise when I say that the MPS4S is exactly where you should be looking as well
  22. I'd like to know if it works on flat surfaces only.
