  1. Actually, the more I look at the inside the more I like it. Shift lights on the cluster Yellow seems a bit washed out, but at least it’s a bright colour.
  2. Nope, that’s not for me from that angle either. But that’s worse.
  3. What’s that silver trim line above the windows about? Awful. Oh, apparantly it’s a katana sword That rear 3/4 is as bad as I thought from that angle. Did the designers of the front not speak to the guys who did the back? Interior looks alright actually. Digidash looks very nice.
  4. And that bonnet appears to have its own postcode.
  5. I’m gonna wait up for it!* *I’m not.
  6. Ah, didn’t know that. Makes more sense then, although you could’ve sacked off FB and just went with the true fans who use this forum and been sound
  7. @GranTurismoEra never drive a Nismo no, but the delicacy of the handling is what makes the Caymanseses such special driving cars. I don’t imagine the Nismo cars even get close to that, not when nothing else that are also considered fantastic drivers cars can. I don’t doubt the Nismo cars are better than the standard ones, but it’s not like the masses rave about them as unnoticed stars tbh. This is what concerns me the most about the new Z, being the same old chassis underneath. As fun as the 350 is, chassis design has come on an awful long way over the years, and if you drive one objectively in comparison to almost anything new it will show. Of course the 350 will still be fun, but the new Z needs to be pushing its competitors on more fronts than just dropping a turbo lump with more grunt in it. IMHO, of course.
  8. See, I’d argue the 350 to 370 look a hell of a lot closer than the 987 to 981 does. And before anyone gets pissy, let’s also remember I bought a 350 over the 987, so I’m not as blinkered as some would believe I don’t think it would be unfair to say that the vast majority of those who have knowledge of cars (pro drivers, journos and enthusiasts alike) would agree that the Cayman has always been a better car than the Z cars. Whether it’s right for the individual is another matter.
  9. Do your own research and you’ll see that the failure rate for the IMS on the M97 was about 5%, not exactly ideal but blown way out of proportion. In every single other aspect the 987 blows the 350/370 out of the water. And let’s not mention the difference in quality between the comparable 981 and 370, especially when the Porker has zero engine issues...
  10. Well you kinda do when it sold like crap and is horrendously outdated nowadays...
  11. These teasers are really boring now. It’s the same sodding stuff they’re showing us Roll on tomorrow and we can see what we may/may not be getting in 2021/22/23
  12. Odd, you only had six going and that’s within the rules.
  13. Well one is definitely wrong, spin it round and find out.
  14. Then again, I sought out a hens-teeth spec manual 520d Touring as my regular car so I guess that nullifies my own argument
  15. Auto on a regular car sure, on a weekend car nope. But that’s a different argument altogether...!
  16. Oh dear, what happened to your suspension? That looks an expensive fix
  17. I’d suspect they’ll use the Q60 auto, purely for cost purposes and just send the manual out for reviews. No need to worry about a slower car if there’s never a bad word said about it, and arguably if you absolutely want the auto you won’t care if it’s another crappy slusher.
  18. Just had a read up, can’t find the exact model used in the Q60 (assuming they’re use the same auto in the Z), but it’s soundly trashed as being much slower than ze German cars. Bugger.
  19. Depends on the auto though, doesn’t it? Old school ones are shocking, newer ones much quicker than a manual and as good easy as older DCTs. How good are Nissan autos? What do they use? I’ve no idea.
  20. Now that’s how you move on got a spec for it? I can spot the PCCBs, clubsport or comfort?
  21. Don’t see why they’d go DCT, the only ‘box they have of that type is in the GTR and it’s always been a bit rubbish. Modern autos (esp the ZF units) are pretty much as good as a DCT unless it’s a full-on super sports car you have. Certainly even I would be happy to have one of those boxes in the car, but you’re right about the older autos in the 350/370 being a little bit pony.
