  1. Buy the FRS if resale value is the most important thing to you. That’s one car only ever going one way in value now, the last ever manual ICE RS that Ford will ever make. But yeah, bright green cars are cool.
  2. And the smaller garages are desperate for money right now so are equally as likely to rush things, plus they can employ people who have zero qualifications to do the menial tasks like, y’know, basic servicing Works both ways. Find a garage you can trust, main or indy, that’s the most important thing. I love finding decent backstreet garages near me, to give an option from main dealer or expensive specialists. Choice is good!
  3. Why use a HPC? Surely any Nissan garage can service it, it’s nothing special mechanically speaking, plus it keeps the main dealer history intact. Not that I think it’ll be much if any cheaper, but it’s an option.
  4. Jesus Christ, never ever ever mix tyres across an axle! Sounds like you’ve been shafted big time, I would just suck it up and get four PS4S on there ASAP as it will transform the car. And yes, get a proper geo (not just an alignment) done as well.
  5. They do, same as the ones we use in visits at the prison and in our healthcare centre.
  6. Silly question and perhaps a tad off topic, but have you done the brakes, tyres and suspension yet? They’ll make you go much quicker than another 20bhp will.
  7. How are these still for sale??!! The best suspension you can buy for a bargain price.
  8. Rather have had him than Hilary tbh, but that’s not saying much!
  9. We had three confirmed cases in our place of 1350 guys, plus I reckon another 300-400 cases that weren’t tested for. Prob about 1/5 of the staff had symptoms or tested positive too, but it’s settled down massively now. We have a lot more controls over new arrivals in prisons now, to stop it getting out of hand plus a very restricted regime where no one mixes with other units. That’s helped a lot, it just makes the days very boring!
  10. But masks don’t stop you getting the Rona, they stop others getting it I know plenty of folks who have worn masks who have got it, sadly until everyone wears one there’s a risk regardless. Hand washing and not touching your face seems far more critical to me. I’ve already put my £10 on Trump winning again, hopefully he’ll do me proud again like he did last time!
  11. I think both OSeseses have their strong points, neither is easier to use than the other: It boils down to what you’re used to. Android is more flexible yes, and it always will be, but it’s also less stable because of that. Doesn’t make it bad, far from it, it’s just the nature of the design and Apple have worked hard to make newer IOS releases far more intuitive as they did lose their way a bit a couple of years back.
  12. Charlotte has a Note 9, I hate it. Pretty screen and decent battery life, but the camera is **** and the touch sensitivity is bollocks.
  13. Which makes it an even odder choice, given the massive range of android phones out there. I can understand wanting Android over iOS if that’s what you like (I myself cannot get on with android at all), but the slower processor is likely to hold it back significantly compared with the competition, even if you take into account less OEM bloat ware. If you only use your phone for web surfing and home integration, then why bother even spending £600 on one? Not sure I would even contemplate that myself, but each to their own.
  14. The Pixel 5 is a very bizarre phone, it already looks underpowered and underspecced compared with the alternatives. Why that over anything else?
  15. Potentially yes, but I want to get my hands on one first. I have an 8 Plus so the 12 Pro Max is what I’d be looking at, but it would need a much better camera than the 11 PM (which I’ve tried and decided it wasn’t enough of an upgrade) and a significantly better screen as well. Otherwise I might as well carry on with what I’ve got now.
  16. You’re worried about the warranty, yet have changed the spoiler (bang goes the paint and body) and the steering wheel (ditto the electrics and steering). Very odd. I jest, neither makes a difference either way. Looks good mate
  17. Not good at all. Fingers crossed for her.
  18. It would make no sense for Nissan to say it’s not coming out here and to then release it. Better to say that they are considering all possibilities and keep PR going than to say it’s not happening. I agree that hybrids will be their primary goal moving forward, but I also suspect the ZP will last for about ten years including a facelift or two. That seems to be what they do with Zeds these days!
  19. Pretty much exactly that. The Rex is ultimately more fun as you can really wring its neck, but actually having torque makes the 350 better to pull out of the corners so it’s definitely quicker, although I don’t think there’s a huge amount in it. I’m a big fan of the Rex, but the 350 is easier to live with.
  20. I’ve tracked an rx8 too (admittedly one with no interior, r888s and bc racing suspension) and it was great fun, it’s my mate’s toy and I had a riot keeping up with it in my old 645ci. In answer to your question, cooling system is absolutely fine but you’ll prob want to swap the pads out for something better. I love the Performance Friction pads, match them with their discs and stopping power and fade are exactly where you’d want them to be.
  21. I couldn’t possibly comment as they’re litigation-happy, which is enough to make me never want to use them. And that they’re known for being general dodgy sh*tbags.
