  1. I'm a Morgan, so I claim Welshness!
  2. Have you seen the list of prospective managers?! Southgate, Pardew... Jeez, how depressing. If only the best managers in the world hadn't just been signed up... This has to end. Why can England not attract the Mourinhos, the Guardiolas? We have the money, so cough up but cough up early!
  3. My thoughts: Hodgson cannot do tournament football at this level. Consistent in failure with no signs of improvement. Again it's been square pegs in round holes. So many players had the season of their lives this year (Kane, Vardy, Dier, Alli etc) and yet we persist in fitting them all in. NO. Play a team, not a group of individuals. If that means you don't play all your stars, so be it. They didn't suddenly get crap as it turned June, they were just played in a terrible system. I don't blame Kane for the free kicks. Clearly that was his role given to him by Hodgson. He did his best. Lallana has played well in the tournament, as has Walker. Let's remember that. There is a place for Rooney still, but it needs to be just behind the front two. If not there, and you want to play Alli to build a team for the future, then Rooney's Engkand career is over. But most of all, and on that last point, let's ditch the old guard now. Hart, Rooney, Cahill. Bye bye. Play the same team of youngsters EVERY SINGLE GAME. No more tinkering, it's obvious who the best players are, if you want to try the odd newbie then make ONE change per game. Friendly or competitive, I don't care, consistency wins you things.
  4. At least we're still in the football! ...oh.
  5. Not a problem fella, just give me a shout whenever
  6. Not far at all, chuck us a PM matey
  7. Iceland ftw tbh
  8. I have a long-standing offer on here of free driver training at any UK trackday, assuming I'm free and you pay for me as a second driver. More than happy to offer that still if it's of any interest Of if you're local to me, we can meet up and see what we can improve in a road environment?
  9. Forza Italia!
  10. Italia!!!
  11. I love wet driving, so much more challenging and fun than driving quick in the dry.
  12. And they wonder why no-one voted for them last year...
  13. I mean, each to their own, it's just a personal opinion on it
  14. They wouldn't be getting a present at all. Vouchers sure, but I'm not giving you money to p*ss up the wall on fags or household bills or something non-wedding related.
  15. I can't believe Corbyn is ignorant enough not to step down and call a leadership contest. Half your own MPs don't trust you, surely that gives you a hint you're not right for the job? He's a terrible failed left wing experiment. He's almost single-handedly killing the Labour party, which after Brown and Ed M is some achievement.
  16. Personally, I find nothing more grotesque than asking for cash as a wedding present. I'll never ever give cash as a gift, ever.
  17. That's okay, we can just lobby Scotland, I'm sure they'll help us out...
  18. Hopefully an Iceland win, and convincingly. The big game is on at 17:00 today. I really think Italy could do it this year, they're going to want revenge for the last final and Spain really aren't firing on all cylinders at all.
  19. Also, the second you add the word 'wedding' to any hire of venue/catering/clothes/cars, you automatically incur the standard WTO 50% Wedding Tax. B*stards.
  20. Actually, I'll be honest and say that the market reaction wasn't/hasn't been as bad as I suspected. It's still been awful, but I expected much worse last week. This is a promising sign.
  21. Link now fixed, it wasn't working correctly with the bracket on the end that Wiki pops on.
  22. If everything else is the same, then it's the private plate. No idea why, just go with a different (better) insurer.
  23. I just checked, it's not for that reason at all: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Election_Day_(United_Kingdom) Election Day in the United Kingdom is by tradition a Thursday. It has been suggested that this tradition arose as the best of several circumstances: Friday pay-packets would lead to more drunken voters on Fridays and weekends; having the election as far after a Sunday as possible would reduce the influence of Sunday sermons; many towns held markets on Thursdays, thus the local population would be travelling to town that day anyway.
  24. All elections and referendums are on a Thursday, aren't they?
  25. We've not heard from Osborne yet since the results, have we?
