  1. Rumours of my demise have been greatly exaggerated. But not by much
  2. Well, they do have a thing for Coldplay. Personally, I'd say that was a fair swap.
  3. People appreciate sarcastic rudeness. I like to think of myself as the forum's Jack Dee.
  4. PCars is bugged to hell. Great game when it works, it just never works Forza 6 is ace, but wheel support is a little off in terms of feel and calibrations, which is a bit irritating. If you're happy using a pad though it's great fun.
  5. Bit late to this party due to unforeseen circumstances, but I'll make my case anyway. My head says yes to a second referendum, purely because the ramifications are so big and the Leave lies have cone undone. My heart however says no: You get one chance, so crack on and make the best of it. I still maintain that nothing will change, as Col has mentioned we'll likely end up with free movement and abiding by EU rules in exchange for remaining in the EEA. Anything else will simply be too difficult politically to sort.
  6. Unfortunately you have no choice but to sign the letter confirming your involvement. Being a CoSec has certain legal responsibilities regardless, and you should never agree to be one without fully understanding those. I know that's the last thing you need to hear right now, and I'm sorry that that comes across as incredibly harsh, but it's the truth. Now saying that, it's unlikely you'll have anything to worry about. If you had zero involvement in the operating of the company then it's unlikely you'll have breached H&S law. However, I would absolutely stop making yourself as CoSec from this point on.
  7. Would you believe that's the second time in as many weeks I've been asked what I do? Part-time know it all, looking to go full time soon though.
  8. The FA are as much to blame here. Where is the bollocking from them to Roy? Stop supporting your back room staff when they're not up to it. Stop signing them on six year contracts with huge payouts, it's a hugely prestigious job and a two year cycle is plenty. Tell your sodding Engiand manager to stop tinkering every five minutes, if he doesn't like it then bin him. You're in charge, tell him what you expect. This is basic management.
  9. I'm a Morgan, so I claim Welshness!
  10. Have you seen the list of prospective managers?! Southgate, Pardew... Jeez, how depressing. If only the best managers in the world hadn't just been signed up... This has to end. Why can England not attract the Mourinhos, the Guardiolas? We have the money, so cough up but cough up early!
  11. My thoughts: Hodgson cannot do tournament football at this level. Consistent in failure with no signs of improvement. Again it's been square pegs in round holes. So many players had the season of their lives this year (Kane, Vardy, Dier, Alli etc) and yet we persist in fitting them all in. NO. Play a team, not a group of individuals. If that means you don't play all your stars, so be it. They didn't suddenly get crap as it turned June, they were just played in a terrible system. I don't blame Kane for the free kicks. Clearly that was his role given to him by Hodgson. He did his best. Lallana has played well in the tournament, as has Walker. Let's remember that. There is a place for Rooney still, but it needs to be just behind the front two. If not there, and you want to play Alli to build a team for the future, then Rooney's Engkand career is over. But most of all, and on that last point, let's ditch the old guard now. Hart, Rooney, Cahill. Bye bye. Play the same team of youngsters EVERY SINGLE GAME. No more tinkering, it's obvious who the best players are, if you want to try the odd newbie then make ONE change per game. Friendly or competitive, I don't care, consistency wins you things.
  12. At least we're still in the football! ...oh.
  13. Not a problem fella, just give me a shout whenever
  14. I have a long-standing offer on here of free driver training at any UK trackday, assuming I'm free and you pay for me as a second driver. More than happy to offer that still if it's of any interest Of if you're local to me, we can meet up and see what we can improve in a road environment?
  15. I love wet driving, so much more challenging and fun than driving quick in the dry.
  16. And they wonder why no-one voted for them last year...
  17. I mean, each to their own, it's just a personal opinion on it
  18. They wouldn't be getting a present at all. Vouchers sure, but I'm not giving you money to p*ss up the wall on fags or household bills or something non-wedding related.
  19. I can't believe Corbyn is ignorant enough not to step down and call a leadership contest. Half your own MPs don't trust you, surely that gives you a hint you're not right for the job? He's a terrible failed left wing experiment. He's almost single-handedly killing the Labour party, which after Brown and Ed M is some achievement.
  20. Personally, I find nothing more grotesque than asking for cash as a wedding present. I'll never ever give cash as a gift, ever.
