I think Hugh is on about the mk3, not the mk2. I'd have one, even with that interior.

They'll be absolutely fine. DT have no idea, they're reading from a catalogue. I'd go with the reality of someone actually running them over a computer.

+1 on using a brush with Megs tyre gel, I find it very therapeutic laying there at the end of a detailing session lightly brushing it it on with a quality bristle stick.

Bearing gone?

325 is the same width as a Gallardo rear tyre. And they have 500bhp to move it!

I don't think I want to live on this planet any more

It is necessary though, if you want better battery life and funky new hardware like haptic feedback buttons. Or you end up having to put up with a larger phone, and I think we're borderline on acceptable on that right now as it is. I don't mean to come across as an Apple apologist: I mean, I like their products but my love for the company has waned in recent years (been a while since I did a 3am queue for a new phone!). They do still however seem to be the only company that's willing to take a risk and try something different, for better or worse. People moaned like crazy at the Lightning connector: Now look at the USB-C standard, it's going the exact same way and will also replace the need for a 3.5mm jack eventually. ApplePay appears to have brought contactless to the US market in a way that nothing else has. Then of course you have the Watch, which even Apple don't seem to really know what it wants to be

I guess it depends on how often you use headphones, and whether you want wireless ones or not. I'm due for an upgrade anyway, will be a good excuse when I eventually get round to needing a new phone.

If you like the current 1P1 then I'd say just get the 1P3, as you know what you're getting and it's going to be faster than what you have. If you do fancy a change, I couldn't look past the S7E myself. Lovely thing, if a little light.

Proposal permission from future father in law

"Oh, really? Umm, well tbh I think she could do a lot better, and if you think you're getting a penny out of me towards it then you're mistaken, but ultimately if she's daft enough to say yes then that's her mistake to make. I'll just pay for the lawyer to draw up the prenup in her favour, and make sure she stiffs you in the divorce. So yeah, go on then." -
Close enough, cheers Let me think about it, will get back to you over the weekend.

Proposal permission from future father in law

I guess it's more to do with the fact most couples are expecting the bride's father to pay for the wedding that they butter him up by asking -
I'm not sure comparing Superia tyres with Eagle F1s strengthens your point in the slightest. It's still utter tosh, as anyone with any experience or knowledge of the subject will attest to. It's like me saying that Tesco Own Brand ketchup is better than Heinz: One person in a billion may think that, but for the rest of people with taste we know it ain't true. I kept relatively quiet in this thread for the most part, but I'm simply not prepared to keep schtum if people are going to post utter bobbins, especially when folks may not have a huge budget to be running a 350 and can't afford to bin it. No need for PMs, I'll happily keep my posts in the public domain and call people out when they're talking garbage. Now, if you'd compared the ultra budget stuff you're talking about to other comparable brands then I'd be all over that discussion. I still wouldn't recommend putting them on a heavy powerful sports coupe for love nor money, but at least it would be reasoned debate. @ioneabee: Point absolutely noted, I've deliberately chosen my words here to allow debate to continue without personal threats. I'm sure Erni is a nice guy, but I absolutely dispute his knowledge in this subject. It's for safety and common sense reasons I post here, not (for once!) because I like the sound of my own voice. Is that even a thing in text?!

+1 for Wix. dead simple to use. Very WYSIWYG in nature, templates can give a pro looking site and will automatically give you a mobile site too.

Proposal permission from future father in law

My first proposal, I didn't ask. Chinese family, not convinced they spoke English enough to understand tbh. My second proposal (different girl), I did. Upper middle class, just felt the right thing to do. My third proposal (different girl again!), I didn't. No father around though, could've asked the working class mother but wanted to keep it a surprise just between myself and my now wife. So basically, go with whatever feels right. If it doesn't feel natural, then don't ask: No-one is really expected to these days. -
Any machine polishing will remove wax in very short order, so no fear there. Working outside on a hot day can be very taxing, especially if the panel is in direct sunlight as it's very easy to overheat everything and end up with holograms and machining marks everywhere. You do want some residue left as otherwise you're in risk of marring the paint, but too much means the polish isn't being broken down and essentially you're achieving nothing. I suspect this is where you were at, for fear of not damaging anything. Not to worry, we've all been there and certainly that's better than going gung-ho and destroying the finish! What you need is some IPA (or better, Envy Filler Killer) to remove all polish from a panel before trying again. It'll give you a clear and unblemished view of what you've done to the paint so far. No hiding with fillers, no cheating. Working on the bonnet is the best place to start, and you're right in making sure the head keeps spinning and letting the machine do the work for you. That said, a bit of pressure doesn't hurt, as long as the head is rotating. A lot of this is confidence though. I've not personally used the polishes and pads you've got, so can't really advise much more on those. Speed sounds about right on the DA though. How hot was the panel after polishing, compared with the surrounding area? Again, hard to judge in direct sunlight. I would say try again, be a bit braver, and see where you get. You can always pick a scrap panel up from a breaker for a tenner and play around with that until you've got some idea of what you can achieve.

And just to be a pain, do you have any pics of the actual orange ones?
-
Thanks Olly, I reckon that picture says a thousand words, no need to find the exact measurement but it's a gracious offer.

For football fans. Scary and horrible read.

Is it not the same in the real world too though? For example, companies head hunting someone employ an agency to make the introduction, and they then pay the agency when the other person signs. But yes, agent fees are just mental. That said, a good agent is more than just someone who argues the toss over the contract minutiae, they're almost like a PA these days for the top players. -
Event tyres are f*cking horrible: I ran them on my MX5 because I wanted something cheap and crap that would have no grip at all. With all due respect, if you actually think that Event tyres are remotely comparable to Kumhos of any kind then I would suggest you don't really know what you're talking about. To say that the Acceleras are better than the Eagle F1s is just absolute nonsense.
-
How thick are they? I mean, they'll protect against a light brush I guess, but what about a sustained drag against a high curb? How much meat is there before you chew through them?
-
And plenty of people get bitten by buying cars from Joe Bloggs where they have zero comeback, so swings and roundabouts. I wouldn't be paying any more than £10K for a 350Z these days, unless FI and very well sorted.

So sorry to hear that Wink, she has a gorgeous looking inquisitive face in that pic 23 years is a great life for a cat, if mine got anywhere close to that I'd be happy. You absolutely did the right thing, and whilst it's so hard to do it's the ultimate responsibility we take on board when we become pet owners.

PSI = Pounds per Square Inch There's no reason your pressure should've risen at all. Are you 100% sure it's not always been like that?
