He did, and still no-one in their right minds thinks that Button is anywhere near as good as Lewis is. In the previous two years, Lewis has wiped the floor with Roscheat every single time it mattered. This year he's had a spectacularly crapload of reliability issues, and even then he still managed to pull back a near-50pt deficit. How many times did Nico come back when he was behind Lewis by the same margin? He's a good driver, but he's not a patch on any of the others that Doc mentioned. So in all honesty, do you think Nico would be be winning this championship if Lewis hadn't had all the mechanical failures?

I tend to agree, I'm not sure I'd bother either.

Ironically it's not, it's a sodding Enzo underneath! No it isnt, its somewhere between 300 and 400% stiffer in the chassis for a start. A man at Dallara told me that, he also told me that the stiffest chassis in production was the RR Phantom, by quite a long way. Same (albeit modified) chassis, same engine, same gearbox... If it looks like a duck etc Interesting about the Phantom, I'd never have put that up there in the stiffest chassis list.

Nico is the least deserving winner of an F1 championship in my lifetime. Even Button deserved his more than Nico. I don't disagree that Nico has driven exceptionally well for him this year, and certainly he's got the hang of the clutch for launching better than Lewis, but in terms of driving quality I just don't seem him as anything special at all. Complete driver? He's barely a complete personality.

Redex is quite weak stuff, mostly just kerosene so it's unlikely to do any harm at all if you use it in the recommended doses. Also unlikely to do any good either
