  1. A good reason to buy a base spec car then
  2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ackermann_steering_geometry But basically it's perfectly normal on road cars on wide tyres, so nothing to worry about at all.
  3. My parents are out there now. They were there for 2008 and 2012 as well, tbh they've not really noticed much difference between the two: Some people are happy, some are sad.
  4. So what are you looking at as a cost to change into a FoST/FiST? I'd seriously be considering the BRZ86 before any hatch. New, comfy, RWD, just as quick, just as fun. Price can't be a million miles off, either.

  7. That would actually be amazing!
  8. He'll be fine. He's less of an interfering warmonger than Hillary is, his opening speech showed how he's going to mellow now he's actually won, much like this country the power sits with the people around the boss rather than the boss, and if not then at least he'll do stuff rather than just talk about it. I think it'll be significantly better than people fear. I agree that neither choice was great though!
  9. Loking good for Trump now then. Looks like we Brits really started something with Brexit.
  10. And now you have no idea what the code was, could've been something important. Why did you not just get it read?!
  11. Always buy on condition, not mileage.
  12. Okay, so likely you've got an air leak or a broken MAF or damaged wire or knocked the throttle body, but even so it could be anything. You need to read the codes, else it's guesswork.
  13. Check the code, could be anything.
  14. I love that
  15. Utterly hideous.
  16. http://www.eurocarparts.com/car-battery Knock yourself out. Just enter your reg then pick one within budget. More CCA = less effort the battery will exert trying to start your car (basically), but more CCA = more expensive too.
  17. I tried it, and it was very immersive but the grainy PS3-esque graphics meant I wouldn't consider it as a serious purchase. Being able to move around the batcave was probably my favourite gaming moment of the year so far though Tempted by a Vive now though.
  18. Almost too much, it's far more supportive in that area than the Sparco was. I may have to adjust that in the future, depends how I get on with it.

    Straightforward and to the point.
  20. It needs bodywork and wheels that fit. Until then, that's definitely not finished
  21. In the future, I would humbly suggest less haste and more speed.
  22. Managed to get a spare day to fit the new seat in yesterday. A lot more faff than I was expecting, not helped by me fitting the sliders upside down first of all ( ) but a huge difference. Interestingly the Recaro Pole Position sits a lot deeper in the seat than the Sparco Sprint, so I wasn't raised up by as much as I thought I might be once I'd put the sliders on. It rubs against the centre console as I've got the seat belt buckle on the outside of the seat (it can go inside too, the seat is recessed there specifically) as I wanted to give Jo as much room for her lady hips as possible, but a small felt pad against the buckle prevents any damage to the console. Sooooooo comfy, yet I don't feel any less supported than I did with the Sparco. It really was worth every penny. Some crap pics before and after: Sun is in totally the wrong place this morning for the Recaro pic, I'll get some better ones at some point. Looks and feels very OEM+ though, which is exactly what I was going for. Just need to save up for the other side now!
  23. That'll be great when they finish it.
  24. So you want stretch, or you don't want stretch?
