  1. I'm not saying Lewis deserved to win the championship: He didn't, as he didn't have as many points. My point is rather that Nico is an average driver with a decent car, who won via default.
  2. Not in Malaysia, no. He was cruising round to an easy win.
  3. Fastest laps mean nothing, all it takes is for the driver to risk blowing his engine up at the end of the race when the car is nice and light. Zero point doing that.
  4. First we had hood the other day, now muffler. Kids these days, tsch...
  5. Massa couldn't get near Alonso, Webber couldn't get near Vettel, Nico can't get near Lewis unless the car breaks Definitely a lot about the car, but Nico is not a worthy winner. For the past 10 years or so, the winner usually has been. Vettel in the RB was imperious, like Schumi in the Ferrari used to be. Boring races, but utterly mesmerising to watch the laps.
  6. Team bosses voted like this: 1 Lewis Hamilton, 234 points (No change) 2 Max Verstappen, 183 (Up two places) 3 Nico Rosberg, 176 (No change) 4 Daniel Ricciardo, 133 (Up five) 5 Sebastian Vettel, 90 (Down three) 6 Fernando Alonso, 67 (No change) 7 Kimi Raikkonen, 61 (Up three) 8 Sergio Perez, 52 (No change) 9 Valtteri Bottas, 26 (Down two) 10 Carlos Sainz Jr, 25 (New entry) How the hell Wehrlein isn't on there ahead of Vettel or Kimi I've no idea.
  7. The ending was amazing, even though there was only one canon one and you had to play MP to get the bestest ending.
  8. Think I'd just get a second hand one tbh.
  9. He deserves to be champ only because he had the most points. Everyone knows that he only won because Lewis had the misfortune to be stuck with Nico's crappy mechanics who couldn't change a spark plug properly, even Nico knows he won by default rather than talent. Nico will be a forgotten champ very quickly.
  10. How anyone who likes cars could pick a Veyron over an F1 is beyond me. Ugly barge bus vs the most intoxicating driver's car of all time?
  11. MPS3 are gash, don't even go there. They're shopping trolley tyres, you don't want them on a sporty car XL tyres are fine, even I can't tell any difference on the road in use.
  12. Wherever is cheapest, really. Have a Google and pay by credit card, you're safe that way
  13. Sadly they're Subaru specific sizes, and a bit hardcore if I'm honest At Eagle F1 prices, I'd still get the MPSS over them. Or maybe try the MPS4?
  14. And I've only ever had great service from them, even when an internal HDD went pop 11mths in. Changed it out straight away, happy to let me do it without affecting warranty, great company to deal with.
  15. He doesn't need that much speed, and if there's cash to burn then it's better going into the gfx card than storage. I'd rather wait an extra 10 secs on boot (who turns their PC off these days anyway?) and gain 10fps.
  16. What's the budget? Personally I'd be getting any i7, as much RAM as you can (16GB should really be fine tbh, but it's cheap enough so 32GB is always a nice to have), and then the fastest Nvidia card you can get your hands on. A 1070 would be my absolute minimum, preferably a 1080 if budget allows as that will be a noticeable step up if you're aiming at VR. My current 980 will do something like Doom at 1080/60 on Ultra with the occasional drop to 50fps, but that's a year old now and you want to be looking forward. Vive uses 2160x1200, so significantly more and you can expect the Vive 2 to be higher than that again (hopefully closer to 1920x1080 in each eye), so you really want the best you can here. I prefer Intel SSDs, and my current setup has one SSD for the OS and generic programs like PS, iTunes etc. Another SSD takes the popular games where loading can be a pain (Skyrim, Fallout 4 etc), then I have two regular SATA drives for everything else.
  17. (FF to 1'10") If there's a better song ever been performed on the Unplugged series, I've yet to hear it. Considering it was a cover that no-one had ever heard of, to end the show with that was brave as hell. And given Kurt's mental state around that time, and of course what happened a few months afterwards, that vocal performance is the dictionary definition of achingly haunting.
  18. PC Specialist. I wouldn't go anywhere else, and their customer service is excellent. Sod building your own, too much hassle. Yes I can do it and it's not hard, but I've better things to do with my time especially trying to chase down an error when you can't even get into the OS. I'd rather spend another £150 and get someone to do the leg work for me.
  19. They're a decent tyre, and in the dry they're the equal of the MPSS. However, in the wet they have nowhere close to the same level of grip, although you do get feedback to let you know this. Currently got them on our Impreza, personally I can't wait until they're shot so I can get some RE070s back on it. Some people love them though, but personally I've been far less than impressed. Better than FK452 et al though. In terms of age, check the sidewall for this: The bit on the right is what you're after, tells you the week and year the tyre was made. Here, it's showing week 9 of 2007.
  20. Absolutely fine to mix, tbh I've tried both XL and non-XL and I'll be buggered if I can tell the difference.
  21. Agreed, spoiler really works well.
  22. Your car shares a name with my cat. Welcome along
  23. Ah okay, must be a new thing then as mine doesn't have that. Ta
  24. What's a 'one connect box'?
