But what does it say in the contract you signed? That's the supporting documentation they'll use in court, and even if an agent has agreed otherwise after the event they will certainly still refer to the original terms you agreed to. 50/50 then if a judge takes your side or theirs.

Check the policy wording very carefully with regards to mods. You may well find that they will not cover any part of the vehicle if you have even the smallest mod on there, which they are entitled to do.

I do that though. However, I do it as a favour. I take care of my cars, and I assume people that park miles away are as well. By parking right next to them I'm helping both of us, as that means there's one less space for numpties to park in.

I was shocked, and tbh I'd rather they just spent the money on the cats (it's a heavy old lump, can't have been cheap to ship over) but they may have had a local company do them for free so you never know. I know, it was like they just changed all their risk factors overnight. LV always used to be excellent with mods, and now they treat them like AIDS.

LV have pretty much stopped taking any mods on now, in the last couple of years. The Lotus guys got stung pretty badly by that.

Agreed, same as any driver really. Nobody wants to be challenged by someone if they have a choice. I think the Mercedes is so good still that any driver on the grid could get a second place finish without too much bother, so they'll want someone who will stay out of trouble on the overtakes and readily accept team orders.

I wouldn't be without mine. Recently switched to AXA, excellent value right now, no one else could even get close to their quote and included full cancer cover too.
