  1. I would, but I'd end up wearing out the F and C keys on my keyboard.
  2. I'm going to start using my own webspace more. I just need a decent ftp app, and to remember my ftp passwords and server details
  3. Touring cars are for kids who haven't realised that racing != rubbing. Endurance racing FTW! But anyway, I'll miss Bernie. Did far more for the sport than anyone ever has, or ever will. However, I await to see what influence Brawn will have on the tech & sporting side, as he really knows his onions. Will he tighten regs up even more leading to silly loopholes, or will he relax the formula to allow for more experimentation? I genuinely don't know.
  4. You can make anything road legal over here, really. Germany would be a nightmare, USA probably a piece of cake, dunno about Japland. That really wouldn't need many mods to make it road legal here. Why you'd want to bother is another matter entirely.
  5. Imgur is utter gash. I've given up with the app, so am using the mobile version of the main webpage. Can I put multiple images into a folder? No, not if I then want to be able to post up individual pics from that folder as it refuses to give me a link for each one, just for the entire folder. What about if I want to make a pic private? Easy on desktop, impossible on mobile. And don't even get me started on trying to delete pics, or even worse delete multiple pics in a batch... It really is a clattering clusterf*ck of a website. PB may well be a tad slow and clunky, but at least it lets me do the very basics of an image hosting site.
  6. That, or a Ginetta GT4? Be about the same price (£75K +VAT), 3.7L V6 too... I suspect the Ginetta would be a significantly more competitive car, which makes the 370 a novelty rather than a GT4-spec bargain.
  7. Running around town is the worst thing you can do with a modern diesel, they'll never get hot enough to ensure the DPF system starts working. It'll need a good long blast at speed once a week at least to make sure he doesn't end up with a big bill. Can't even remove it any more now the MOT rules have changed, either.
  8. Personally I tend to stick with Acer laptops, although I am running a PC Specialist own-brand one as my work work right now which is spot-on. It's one of the better i7 models though, we've also got an i5 cheapy and the keyboard is shockingly bad.
  9. You wait until you get the bills for when the chain and turbo fails on the BMW engine...! Hang on, surely he pays for his own car repairs? It's his car after all. Definitely a better choice, just a shame it's the diesel.
  10. Never seen AC/DC live sadly, so can't comment. Only really got into them in the last few years, missed them in their prime
  11. Taylor Swift did one of the best live shows I've ever seen. Better than Muse, and if you've ever seen them (and if not, why not?) you'll know that's high praise indeed.
  12. Agreed, absolute idiot. Although not as much as the passenger, who is wearing harnesses that go over the seat and far too loosely: In an accident, he's going to fly out of there very quickly. If something breaks on that car and the driver only got one hand on the wheel, at those speeds what chance of saving it? And if you're going to drive a track in a convertible, for god's sake put a helmet on.
  13. Dodgy/failing speed/ABS sensor would be a good place to start looking.
  14. It varies: Nissan spec is 1L/1000mi (or km, I can't remember), and some Revup DE engines do chew through that and more. Personally I feel that's too high. In general, a healthy DE engine shouldn't consume much more than half a litre over the course of a 9000 mi service window. A litre, tops.
  15. I'd be more worried with it burning it than leaking it, the V6 lumps are pretty good when it comes to being sealed. But yes, cardboard is a good idea and an easy thing to do.
  16. Personally I would leave it. It looks correct, but it it's wrong you could end up putting too much in and blowing seals etc. Assuming you're not doing a billion miles in a week, I'd prob just check the level daily to make sure it's not dropping drastically
  17. Sounds reasonable enough then. Ask them to measure exactly how much came out when they do it, if you don't DIY.
  18. I would tend to agree, but there's an awful lot of oil on the stick above the high level too. That said, a litre would bring you roughly from where you were to were you are, so at least it seems consistent there. Really though you're pretty much at the point where you're going to have to drop the oil to get a proper measure for confidence, especially since you suspect you ran very low.
  19. Might be worth sending the injectors away to be properly cleaned and flow tested, whilst you've got them out.

    Ooooh good point, Brexit incoming!
