    Last ICE Lotus

I4 with a DCT, or a V6 with manual/auto’box. Lesser one could be reasonably priced but undesirable, the latter superb but expensive. I’m sure it’ll be brilliant in either format, just gutted they’ve had to drop the manual from the base version
  2. Whoever told you that nonsense needs shooting, utter tripe. They’re two separate offences, the first one has been dealt with by the course (which clearly didn’t work ), so the second one gets the points and fine.
  3. So when you used the jumper cables on the old battery for the last time, did the car actually start? Or was that the point it was dead as a dead thing?
  4. Funniest thing I’ve seen for ages, although it’s a bit of a shame it didn’t go through and the big six get kicked out of the PL, as that would mean my beloved Leeds would be in a CL spot
  5. Millionaire previous owner, must’ve maintained it well... comes with four landsail tyres Well, at least now we know why he was a millionaire! Congrats on the new car, enjoy
  6. Is that what DVLA and TfL have said?
  7. Tried calling the DVLA and asking them? They’re the only ones who will know really, but I suspect you’re asking for the impossible, regardless of the reality of the cars being identical.
  8. I don’t think anyone who wanted a Supra would’ve been holding out for a tarted up version of a 350, if I’m honest. Certainly not once they saw it... Is the current Supra the most disappointing new car of recent times? Interesting question.
  9. Millers, how did I forget that one?! I’ve even used it before as well!
  10. How many oils are specced for track use then? Outside of Motul, I honestly can’t think of any off hand, and how many people bother with the expense of that in a road car that sees the odd track day? Would I buy Tesco oil? For a fun car no, although these is no logic behind that at all and I cannot fault a single word Alex says. I’d shove it in the dadmobile happily though!
  11. 4 year old engine, 20 year old chassis, you would hope it’s cheaper too! The fact the 370 sold poorly and the clamour for a new Supra was immeasurably higher than anything for a new Zed doesn’t seem a great place to start, plus everyone wants autos these days. I’m not saying it couldn’t outsell a Supra, but I’m not convinced it will happen. But then, the Supra hasn’t exactly sold well either so who knows!
  12. What’s really concerning is the amount of people who would wait for the Nismo version because the standard looks too bland for them. If people don’t buy the regular one, Nissan aren’t going to do a Nismo one on the off chance.

    Forgestar F14's

You def need a new camera, or to learn how to use the auto edit function on your phone They look nice though, but please get some better pics!
  14. If you can get a fingernail in it, it’ll need a machine to correct it. No amount of elbow grease will shift it, unless you can polish non stop for a year or so... get yourself a DA, some Scholl S17+ and a medium pad to suit and it’ll come out. Unless you are spectacularly cack handed, and I mean by physically mashing the hard plastic of the machine into the paint, you won’t mess anything up.
  15. The biggest problem I can see with an import these days is the electronics, specifically the immobiliser and other random body ecus. We’ve had a couple of guys on here who have had issues with theirs and have had major problems sourcing replacements, whereas UK cars are a much easier fix. That alone would put me off tbh, as having a bricked car isn’t much fun when there is no solution to fix it. Mechanicals are easy to do, electronics much less so.
  16. For what car? Tbh any modern car comes with all that jazz as standard and has done for years, and unless you’re buying something uber-exclusive old school is the market for stolen cars that big to warrant anything flashy? I mean all the yoofs want to steal Golf Rs and S3s these days.
  17. Depends how badly you want a tuned up twenty year old car just to have something different to post on the socials, I guess. Financial sense absolutely not, common sense still no, but the heart wants what the heart wants.
  18. You’ll need something to attach the harnesses to, so either a bar (if it allows the correct break angle on the install) or bolting down somewhere in the boot should suffice. Any decent harness will do, I’d always go 3” for comfort and other than that style is pretty much up to you. I believe that technically you need a seatbelt buckle style still for MOT compliance, but you’d have to find a pretty picky tester for that to ever come up. I’m a fan of the Schroth ones, but honestly it’s up to you at that point.
  19. Imagine being in a roll over situation where you’ll be jerked around everywhere, your head could easy come into contact with one or more parts of the roll cage which can actually make the fitting of one more dangerous. I would seriously consider either wearing a helmet all the time when driving, or fitting a quality harness system with that setup. Are they genuine Bride seats? If so they will be fine with harnesses, if fake then be aware that their structural rigidity may fail when using harnesses due to the forces involved. Tricky this stuff, ain’t it?!
  20. Safer? Arguably, but only if worn correctly. That would mean installing them with the correct break angle, and ensuring they are fully tightened when in use and in 5 or 6 point form to prevent submarining. That said, where does your head sit in relation to that roll cage? If there is any chance that in an accident it could come into contact with that cage then you should be wearing a helmet anyway, so a harness done up tight might prevent the need to wear a helmet.
  21. I’d say the front 3/4 is almost pure Panamera. It’s good, but those rear lights are awful. I’ll have to have a drive in one though.
  22. Still nope. Especially in primer.

    Oil guzzler

What 350 do you have? DE, Revup or HR? And how bad is the oil consumption?
  24. Not gonna happen. An EV option sure, but fully electric? Nope.
