Bubbles != a good shampoo. The best I've ever found was a pH neutral one by Wolfs IIRC, practically zero bubbles but wonderfully smooth. Not seen it for years though sadly. Right now I'm sticking firmly with Envy's own shampoo, by far the closest I've found and does a superb job. http://www.envyvaleting.co.uk/products-info.asp?id=295

£1500 for a clutch fitted sounds awfully pricey to me, is it really that much? I think it would be a huge shame to break a HR where the only issue is a clutch and a squiffy gearbox, but I can see your reasoning.

Shan't :p We all have off days mate, and sometimes it's hard to remember not to drag that with you when you're out with you're mates. Doesn't matter if pub or internet, same thing applies.

Erm, if you've never revved the car to the rev limiter then you really need to be doing that: Sitting at low rpms isn't a good thing for modern engines at all. They're designed to be used properly, so don't be afraid to bang the limiter every now and then.

Look under the bonnet, if you have two air intakes then it's an HR. Looking at the bonnet hump that's very likely, but not impossible to swap. Also, if your car revs to 7500 it's definitely an HR.

Absolutely impossible to say, as Rich says some engines differ the second they come out of the factory! Not to mention how different dynos on different days will give different readings.

I don't know how Android phones work, but can you not just erase it and restore from a back up?

In fairness, the ZZRs are aimed primarily at lighter cars, like Caterhams etc. It's a miracle they bother to make any 18"s at all!

Usage I'm less concerned about, 2L and not even to the max mark on the dipstick shows the engine has been run far too low on oil. Now you're showing high oil usage, so I'd certainly be looking at getting a leakdown test done. Please tell me you told the dealer the oil was too low as soon as you discovered it after picking it up?

If those levels are true, then your engine is pretty much goosed I'm afraid. You're going to need to drop the oil to find out exactly how much is in there really.

Those designed-in crackles sound awful and cheap Looks much sharper though than the current one, beautiful colour too.
