The MPS4 (which is what I run as I cannot get MPS4S in 17”) are like a perfectly cooked steak with chunky chips, steamed beans and the sauce of your choosing. The MPS4S are like the same steak, but served by a nude Scarlett Johansson offering herself as dessert. In short, they’re both excellent but you’d be mad to not go for the latter. Just move up a width front and back to suit, they have them in those sizes.

Tbh, you’d need the specs of all the dampers and the spring rates to make an informed decision as much as people saying “yeah I’ve had these and they’re great”, as it depends on what kind of feel you want from them.

BC Racing BR also well worth looking at, I’ve had them across three different vehicles (including a 350) and found them to be excellent in terms of quality, adjustability and damping levels.

The 104mph was on the A12 near Lower Hacheston, Suffolk. So def not somewhere you just pay the coppers! Truth be told the officer mucked up the paperwork by putting a NI code down and not a English one, so when I took my documents to the station the officer at the desk couldn’t actually process it. I got very lucky, and since June 3rd 2004 I no longer speed on motorways/DCs. Not worth it, way too easy to get caught.

Actually France is one country where they automatically deduct a percentage for fluctuating speedos or dodgy calibration, so when you’re caught you’re caught. And that comes from someone who was stopped for doing 180kmh in a 110kmh, and the adjusted speed was still significantly naughty enough for them to take my licence and €750 there and then

I4 with a DCT, or a V6 with manual/auto’box. Lesser one could be reasonably priced but undesirable, the latter superb but expensive. I’m sure it’ll be brilliant in either format, just gutted they’ve had to drop the manual from the base version

Tried calling the DVLA and asking them? They’re the only ones who will know really, but I suspect you’re asking for the impossible, regardless of the reality of the cars being identical.

I don’t think anyone who wanted a Supra would’ve been holding out for a tarted up version of a 350, if I’m honest. Certainly not once they saw it... Is the current Supra the most disappointing new car of recent times? Interesting question.

How many oils are specced for track use then? Outside of Motul, I honestly can’t think of any off hand, and how many people bother with the expense of that in a road car that sees the odd track day? Would I buy Tesco oil? For a fun car no, although these is no logic behind that at all and I cannot fault a single word Alex says. I’d shove it in the dadmobile happily though!

4 year old engine, 20 year old chassis, you would hope it’s cheaper too! The fact the 370 sold poorly and the clamour for a new Supra was immeasurably higher than anything for a new Zed doesn’t seem a great place to start, plus everyone wants autos these days. I’m not saying it couldn’t outsell a Supra, but I’m not convinced it will happen. But then, the Supra hasn’t exactly sold well either so who knows!
