  1. It’s an absolute no brainer.
  2. Who do you know who has that exact kit? I wouldn’t be buying anything from the States direct, I’d get a UK company to supply (even if that means paying more) as you have way more protection when things inevitably don’t fit/are incorrect/break. Turbo vs SC is a huge question in itself, drivability between the two is massive and depending on how you want the car to drive will depend on what suits you. Without checking back over your posts, I’m assuming you’ve done all the other supporting mods already?
  3. I was gonna ask if you’d gone manual or auto, that answers that! Tbh I don’t even know if bmw will let you spec one with a proper ‘box any more, in X drive spec anyway. Mine’s a manual as I’m a Luddite, but even I’ll admit that these cars suit an auto far better and I do kinda find myself wishing I’d gone for a more common car instead
  4. The only thing I don’t like about the current 3ers are the rear lights, the way they wrap around the bodywork. Otherwise I’m a sucker for a BMW tourer, my F11 with the 2L oil burner is bizarrely brilliant car, and the G21 is a beautiful thing indeed. Good choice sir, enjoy!
  5. If you've just bought it, put down the purchase price as the value of the car, as that’s what it was worth to you right now. It’s not really relevant as they’ll only pay market value should the worst happen anyway.
  6. Is that still a thing?!?! I assumed that had died long ago.
  7. All these electric cars are going to look really silly when legislation comes out to limit acceleration as more and more accidents occur…
  8. Why are they still bothering with artist renders? They’re still just made up by a bloke sitting alone in a studio somewhere who has no idea what any potential Nismo might look like, it’s utterly pointless guesswork. We need to see the finished base car first ffs!
  9. Cripes, that’s taken a fair bit of effort to sort then!
  10. Well it wants to be, if it’s not they’ll be in for a PR disaster tbh.
  11. Which is quite some feat.
  12. Near super car level tuning options? What even is that?!?! I’m guessing you mean a remap will see what, 480-500bhp tops, maybe with an inter cooler upgrade as well? Like I said it’ll shift anyway, and yes that’s quick, but I think we’re a long way and many £££ and parts from hitting 700bhp+ aren’t we? Has hydraulic steering been confirmed? Excellent news if so, that’s a real bonus tbh. The point about analogue is that if most sales are auto and it’s a generic V6TT, how analogue is it likely to feel? I don’t know. Perhaps you’re right, and being an old car underneath could actually be it’s saving grace, bizarrely. Cost is everything here. If it fails to really take off in Japan then prices will always be high here I feel, then it’s just another unicorn with better options elsewhere.
  13. It’s a 20 year old chassis with a generic V6 with a couple of turbos strapped to it, a GPF and a regular slush box. No doubt quick in a straight line when it’s wound up, but I can’t see it being the peak of excitement in that guise. Manual may at least be more involving, but looks aside it’s not offering anything remotely different or interesting to tempt people from the existing competition. In fairness, there’s precious little out there that has a newer chassis and a similar power train configuration that’s very exciting either, so I can see what they’re aiming for.
  14. If you’re going to have a silly car, it needs to be in a silly colour!
  15. Isn’t Bayside Blue an R34 colour? Also, that car is in Wangan Blue according to the text, no idea if that’s a different name for the same colour.
  16. Bit odd keeping your cars under a big tent, but each to their own.
  17. *sigh*
  18. That was trying to register a car in France without the V5, so something a bit different to what you’re after. Or that’s the most recent thread like that that I can think of, anyway.
  19. Nope, all data like that has to come from the manufacturer who will have done it years back. Can’t remember the exact name of the document now, used to be common many years ago when grey imports were a massive thing, not so much these days.
  20. Good luck with that!
  21. Nah this is Nissan, they’ll keep it going for at least double that
  22. It’s all relative, compared with a modern turbo hot hatch then they’re not, taken on their own then I’d say they’re plenty quick enough!
  23. Nice to hear from someone who’s tried multiple setups, can I ask why that was? And what you found the difference (stock for stock, so equivalent geo settings) between them to be?
  24. Could be worn out pads if a calliper was binding, but just as easy could be a stuck stone. Get a few hard stops done to see if that solves it (in reverse too), or pop the wheels off and have a look at the pads themselves on the inside.
  25. Third result down on google: https://fusecheck.com/nissan/nissan-350z-2003-2008-fuse-diagram
