  1. Our survey flagged up that the bannister rails could allow a child to fall through them (we have no kids, and the current owners had had three of their own grown up there!) and that the water main stop valve was showing signs of leaking (erm, its bone fricking dry you muppet). Waste of time, which annoyed me as I paid for the decent one too.
  2. It looks more positive than ever from testing, but then this happened last year. Ferrari looked close to .Merc in testing, then Lewis took a 0.8s lead in qualy. I'd like it to be closer, but only if RB and maybe Williams can join in too. I still want Kimi to DNF every race, and Lewis to win them all.
  3. Before clicking the link I was begging that to be a classic one with a manual 'box... Perfect choice sir!
  4. Wish they'd turn the sodding traction control off for the celebs that can actually pedal!
  5. He's more than that, he's like a 911 wearing MPSS whilst listening to Girls Aloud
  6. How the hell does he have 2M subs? The guy is more boring to listen to than I am, and that's saying something.
  7. Partly the reason I chose it, as it sits really nicely and is relatively subtle too. It's a DR650 single channel one, lovely bit of kit and the software is ace. Not cheap, but quality.
  8. Depends which one you get. I've a Blackvue, stuck behind the rear view mirror and then I just run the cable in the headlining and down the a pillar trim, then under the dash and plugged into a 12v socket. That's how most people do it I think, you get a shed load of spare cable.
  9. I reckon Ep2 was as close to old TG as we've come so far, and you know what? It was good! I'm starting to think it's actually CH&M that I was fed up of, not TG itself. Still really enjoying Harris in the limelight, having followed his career for years I'm so glad it's paying off. Anyone else notice we have very little Stig in the show now? And how it's better for it?

    Drift Matsuri Vlog

I'm going to make you some royalty-free rock music so I never have to hear that dreadful plinky-plonky electronic stuff again Enjoyed that dude, somegood action on three. Might even join you next year
  11. I know there's a good few of you using this kit, and I'd like to pick your brains if I can. Nothing bad I promise, just want to be nosey before I take the plunge myself Payments of Curly Wurlys can be agreed upon full and final disclosures
  12. Oil temp of 112c is nothing, if you were pushing 130c I might be concerned but up to about 120c I wouldn't worry at all. Possibly valve seals, but normally you'd get that when the car is sitting at idle not on the move. PCV is a good shout to check, easy fix too.
  13. Whale oil beef hooked. That's insane.
  14. Two kitchens aren't allowed?? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of!

You wound everyone up by saying we all didn't know what we were talking about, tried to be clever by posting something that was masquerading as something else, and now you're continuing to attack the people who's help you seek? Man, and people say I've got no people skills.

When did I say I thought it was blowing? I just asked a question. But yes, clearly you've caught us all out: What a bunch of nobs we are who know nothing. Clearly we know so little, and you so much, that none of us should ever bother trying to help you again. Sound about fair, guys?
  17. They're stunning on R888s
  18. Be nice, but tbh if I was going for a track slag I'd want a convertible I think. But sure, as a track car I'm not convinced there's many better choices out there: Light, fun, revvy, parts plentiful etc.

They are, but tbh I'd say they're too subtle given the fact they're not exactly cheap.
  20. Apex Rotary will do you a warrantied rebuild for £2200, which includes porting and the standard 500mile oil change afterwards. Pick a non-runner up for a grand, do the rebuild and then you're good for another 40k miles at least. Sohn adaptor only another £200 too. They're an absolute bargain of a car. Makes me want one now!

My honest opinion is that a standard Cobra or Scorpion exhaust is going to be perfect for you. They're the go-to option for backboxes, and you can always adjust the y-pipe & cats if you want more noise later. They sound sporty without sounding obnoxious. They'd be my choice for sensible money if I were buying tomorrow.
  22. Makes sense, now that McLaren have gone orange. They don't want to be mistaken for that POS
