  1. I would either do a whole car or nothing at all, and make sure that you've seen examples of their work as sometimes you can end up seeing the film itself on the edges which looks dreadful. Personally, i wouldn't bother.
  2. Unless you do it properly with a large piece of solid board that extends past the bumper and runs right back past the sump, then no. Even then, you'd need to balance it up with rear aero and it would only be useful at high speeds. Essentially if you can't stand on a front splitter, it's not doing anything.

  7. Low CoG definitively, and drag too as they don't need a radiator, but we're years away from them ever being low weight. Trouble is, with the weight of all those batteries is it worth spending extra on lightweight materials for the structure?

Cheers guys Saw the surgeon yesterday, sadly my op to remove the gallbladder won't take place until after Le Mans now, which is a bit of a pain as eating healthy there is not the easiest thing to do. Still, it's the right move long term so can't complain, and at least I'll be ok for my trip to Florida later this year. The infection seems to have gone now mostly, so there's no pain anymore. Trouble is, after three weeks in bed I'm exhausted just doing simple things like walking to the hairdresser (5 mins away!) so need to build my fitness up again. However, I have lost 8lbs over that time period (not including The Turd From Hell) so swings and roundabouts

  11. Who is doing the install? For peace of mind on the warranty side of things, I'd go with whatever our installer says. If you're doing it yourself, then I agree with Olly and go with the manufacturer's advice.

  13. What size tyres are you running? And are you lowered at all? A Zed (assuming 350, you don't say though), even on 20" wheels, should be able to be put into the OEM settings as long as it's not lowered. With bigger wheels, all you're doing is swapping metal for rubber, so everything else should stay the same. I mean, it's going to move by fractions, but not enough that someone shouldn't be able to get it back to OEM.
  14. EVs definitely don't lend themselves to low-weight vehicles, or at least they don't right now.
  15. I also spotted in EVO this month that the new CTR comes on 20" wheels as standard. TWENTY INCH F*CKING WHEELS ON A HATCHBACK. Utterly ridiculous. That's miles too big.
