    370z or 135i

I think you might need to provide a few more details, and drive both to see what you want.
  2. What’s the betting you can’t have the sport steering mode on in comfort mode, and vice versa? And you can guarantee that one mode or the other will feel awful too. That’s a nice blue it’s offered in, best colour yet.
  3. 200kg heavier and less power than the R8 V10 Plus launched in the same year doesn’t seem massively trim to me, tbh. And no, I couldn’t believe there was that much in it either! Against something like that, I guess it’s easy to see why it never really got going despite solid reviews. Numbers from wiki, btw.
  4. Good. Knobbish thing to be doing tbh, impresses no one and he’d already had his warning.
  5. I’d assume gearbox failure just in case, so potentially a £2k bill on top. If you still want it at that price then yes, it’s a good deal.
  6. Hit car seems stretching it I always thought there was a great car under there, hidden under some questionable styling. The interior especially was worthy of more, and whilst the outside looks fine in pics it’s lacking something in the flesh. Couldn’t tell you what, but something. Imagine one in the Lime Green that Honda offered the S2K in though…
  7. Makes it look like a Dino!! Honest, I’ve seen Max Power Corsas circa 1998 look better than that GRGR86 monstrosity.
  8. It’s a lump of metal that sits between the wheel and the hub, how good does it need to be?! No need to be daft about it with the plastic comment, but there’s no need to spend silly money on uber-lightweight forged items when some cnc alloy spacer will do the exact same job, unless of course you’re all about the weight saving and are running carbon fibre wheels. And if you are then good for you, but for 99% of people there is no point spending a fortune on something so basic. Besides, if you already have your perfect spacer, then you wouldn’t be looking at these as you’ve clearly done your research.
  9. A spacer is a spacer, JR are a well known brand, I wouldn’t expect these to differ from the Eibach by much if at all. Can be fitted front or rear but very unusual to fit in only pairs. Your twitchiness is more likely due to a poor geo and/or tyre issues in all honesty, certainly things to address before even contemplating spacers. Worth starting a thread elsewhere about it, if you haven’t already.
  10. It’s just a sticker, hit eBay for 6spd stickers if you really want one in the car
  11. This this this. A billion times this.
  12. Ah, didn’t know you were in NI, that does limit options somewhat. There must be somewhere similar though?
  13. Not sure about girly, but they’re bloody awful. To me, this all sounds like you need to take a trip to GSM in Nottingham and actually sit in a few different seats first, as what looks pretty isn’t always comfortable. That’s what I did before quickly realising that the Recaro Pole Positions were worth every penny over a cheaper seat, but you may well find that the alternative is true for you. A seat has to be comfortable first and foremost as it’s your primary connection to the car itself. Get that wrong and you’ll hate the car, even if the seat is pretty, and you can’t decide comfort from someone else’s opinion and some pictures.

    Wheel Spacers

I love this bit from their website: ”For example, our lightweight wheel spacer is based on traditional conventional wheel spacer with lightweight structural treatment to achieve the function of reducing weight.” Not sure I’d start trying to sell an amazing new Active Cooling product by saying it’s the same as a regular spacer, just lighter But yeah, I’m with you mate, this is screaming advert to me.

    Wheel Spacers

I have some Active Cooling Magic Beans for sale too, if you’re interested. Can also get them forged for you if you want!
  16. It’s a pikey old shed with different colour panels, some colourful wheels and those awful extensions that clearly aren’t made for that model bodged on. I do believe that’s the definition of a Barry car, isn’t it?
  17. Configurator is up on their website
  18. It’s a bit generic to my eyes. When I first saw a picture of it I had no idea it was a Lotus, in fact I assumed it was some new random Dutch/Swedish/Russian company launching a copycat Ferrari/McLaren style thing. Not convinced about it being a physically bigger car than the Cayman either, that being said I’m sure it’ll be nothing less than brilliant if you can put up with the usual Lotus foibles.
  19. That’s an easy conversation to have. It’s when you tell her it’s the Emergency Mistress Ejector Button that things get a bit more awkward…
  20. Could literally be anything. Assuming it does nothing when you push it (checked lights etc?), then assume it was for an accessory that has now been removed and disregard it. Trace the wiring and remove if you’re minded to do so.
