  1. That makes me feel better about the times I got last time I was at Pod in the BMW
  2. We'll get whatever Brexit deal the EU will let us, in reality. The only major question is whether they can cobble together a temp trade deal before the two years are up, or whether they cop out and just extend the existing access as long as we carry on paying the amount of money into the EU that we currently do. The first option is a bodge and could make things awkward/rushed; the second one is a political nightmare as the opposition (whoever they may be) will jump on that as a weakness of the PM, even though it would be the right call to make for the long-term. Two years simply isn't long enough to get anything reasonable sorted, and A50 was never actually designed to ever be used. I suspect we may officially leave the EU in 2019, but we won't notice any differences to anything until many years after that.
  3. Given the current RS has more than 300bhp from the factory, I think it's safe to assume the OP wasn't talking about the mk3
  4. I'm kinda with Rich on this one. If it costs me £40 more for a set of tyres but I can keep a good relationship with the guys that actually fit them then that's worth it to me, for all those times I drop in with random wheels and need them fitted urgently But yeah, when you start getting close to or into three figures, then I'm sorry but I'll go with the cheaper option every time.
  5. I'm still hoping Le Pen can pull off a miracle and win. Mainly because I have a fiver on her to do so Certainly a shift in momentum then, although it nicely illustrates the global shift to the right: We're now looking at a centrist and far right party as the dominant ones, rather than the standard left & right wing parties as you say. Same thing as over here really, Corbyn isn't really far left at all, he's just more left than the central ground that Labour (and the Tories) have shared for the last twenty years which makes him look extreme.
  6. I'm neither good enough nor brave enough I might see if I can get some kind of comparison video up at some point, try and demonstrate the differences of the various bits of kit.
  7. Victory V30 'The Countess' 40w head plus matching V212VV with 2x12" Celestion Vintage 30s in it. It's awesome Tried the V30, the Blackstar 5H-R and the Orange Dual Terror. The Orange was great but not the tone I was after, and I initially went with the Blackstar as it sounded more versatile until I went back to the Victory and bizarrely it was like night and day. The V30 is two-channel, with a lush clean channel that crunches up nicely if you push it and an overdrive channel that's just barking filth. It's got soooo much oomph this thing, even at fractional volumes it'll push the air right out from under you. Thankfully it has adjustable power outputs for bedroom/studio use, from 40w to 7w to 2w. Trust me, even 2w is more than enough if you want to get on with the neighbours! Silly money really, but it's absolutely beautiful and I now feel like I've got a whole bunch more options now. I also bought a hanger for the LTD as it doesn't sit properly in the rack, and had a general tidy up too:
  8. Couple of months back, but not speeding related. Quick chat, NFA.
  9. By all accounts, yes. Put it this way, I'll be going MPS4 when my current MPSS are dead.
  10. Phil Hammond making noises about being restrained because of the promise not to raise income tax, and then quick PR from Tory HQ saying that this doesn't mean that he will if they get in. Very poorly timed comments from him, and I'm not so convinced that he wouldn't like to push the standard level of income tax up by a percent just to make life easier. I don't think he will, not before Brexit. Little things like that can quickly become big things in the media these days.
  11. Aww heck I done gone done a heck a big spend today Pics to follow...
  12. Gents, can we try and keep this civil please? It's been an excellent and well-mannered thread so far, despite many of us sharing different opinions. If you have a point to make then please make it, but make it in a calm and rational tone. Thank you.
  13. @Graham: Tbh I don't believe for second that wasn't rigged to hell. Day before results his non-Corbyn supporting opponent just happens to get suspended? Yeah, okay. Honestly, the unions make Russia look democratic and honest. The PLP should be completely seperate from them.

  15. But who lets them? The NHS has massive purchasing power, it just chooses to roll over and get raped in the wallet.
  16. Anyone else I wouldn't believe, but you've got a trustworthy face.
  17. In that case, thank you for reducing my tax bill by paying more than necessary! I pay my dues too, I just don't pay more than I have to.
  18. Which is why politics doesn't work in this country, every time they make a hard but right call they get slaughtered on it.
  19. Absolutely agree 100%. This is why I think we should pay our MPs significantly more than we do, get the big business owners with a proven track record interested in helping run the country. Stop this faffing around, it's the most important job in the country so we should pay a proper wage.
  20. Because I don't want to pay any more tax than I absolutely have to. If they can't make laws that cover every base, that's their problem not mine. If I said to you pay me £500 and I'll legally save you £5000, you're telling me you wouldn't take it? No dodgy off-shore schemes or anything like that.
  21. You need EA Access my friend. Got me a fiver off ME:A, and SWBF is free on there now too. It's very good VFM if you like their games, FIFA17 coming this month too.
  22. Well that's hideously disappointing. I'm going to report you to the admin for blatant lying! ...Oh.
  23. *cough* Mass Effect *cough*
