  1. Actually that thread was more S2K-specific, and barely touched on the others. Still, it's here if you fancy a read. I still say an Elise is something everyone has to own once. You could run it for a year then sell it for what you paid for it, and a man of your helmsmanship will definitely appreciate the delicacies of the chassis.
  2. Boxster, no question. Just don't forget the all-important inspection. I did a thread on basically the same thing the other month, let me go find it.
  3. I dunno, I'm not sure I trust him. I mean, blue Subaru *without* gold wheels? Heresy!
  4. They're not directional, but they do (or should) have 'OUTSIDE' stamped on them to indicate which side goes on the outside edge of the wheel. Check that. Correct, they have ~90% At the moment, it sounds like they have 10%.
  5. It's only a wasted vote if you believe it is. If people bothered to read policies rather than vote for soundbites and/or like their grandparents did, we wouldn't have such a two party system.
  6. Far too simplistic view IMHO. I'm not wealthy, but I've done okay under a Tory government. Then again, I also did well under a Labour government, so make of that what you will.
  7. Pirellis don't have half the grip the MPSS do, so you're always going to have a more slippery rear (!) until you change the fronts to match. That said, this is much more likely to be a case of you not having worn the release agent off yet, so it will get better the more miles you do. Pump the pressures up in the rear by a couple of PSI too, see if that helps.
  8. But as I probably said in the first place, idiots all round. Four people on a quad at night with no lights, and street racing. Four people dead, two people likely to see serious jail time (interesting how they charged the 350Z passenger with causing DBDD, rather than encouraging causing DBDD) and five people praying that the jury finds in their favour.
  9. New article, old news story. The crash happened in 2015, but the court case is taking place now. This is most definitely relevant news, seeing as how people are still on trial.
  10. So what happened when the bulk of the country voted Labour and Blair came to power? What happened then?
  11. They're right on both accounts though
  12. I guess he'd be arguing against the LD, SNP, UKIP, PC and the Greens. He knows that to go up alone against the others there could simply split the Left vote between him and TF, which is the last thing he needs right now. Tbh it's a very sensible decision for him not to appear either.
  13. Scrubbing is used where a tyre is being dragged along the ground sideways, rather than rolling along as you would expect. That's an extreme explanation, as it's likely your tyres are only pointing off by a few degrees which is nothing in the real world, but over many miles it can make a big difference to the tyre. Tracking/alignment/geo should be done annually at least, if not every 6mths if you drive over some really poor roads regularly. In MK though, annually will be just fine.
  14. Def a better guitar, but just not as iconic as the Warlock. Plus I doubt I'd pick one up for £30!
  15. FFS I really must stop buying guitar stuff I always wanted one when I was a kid, and who cares how it plays when it looks like that! Plus it was only £30 so what the heck
  16. Last time I saw a heroin addict high? That'd be me the other week in hospital smashed off my nut on morphine then
  17. Totally agree, it is pointless, but this is a bit pot kettle black.
  18. Corbyn now refusing to do a TV debate without May. Apparently that makes her weak, but him strong. Yeah okay mate...
  19. You definitely want to check that the cut outs can support harnesses, I can't see a reclining seat being an issue as long as it's in a normal position. Obviously laid flat back would be dangerous, but then it would be with the normal seat belts too.
  20. 6 point is ideal, but 4 point is fine too as long as it's done up snugly. I run 4 points in my cars, put it that way. 6 points will require you to add additional mounting points for the crotch straps, which probably isn't something you want to do I think.
  21. It's not the anti-social side that bothers me, it's the hypocrisy of taxing something that is so bloody terrible for you. We keep other bad drugs illegal, why does tobacco get a free ride? Actually, I'd much rather see drugs legalised and taxed as well, extra revenue stream.
  22. No, harnesses must ALWAYS be done up tight enough so that they pin you to the seat. Otherwise you run the very real risk of slipping out in a crash (submarining) which can cause horrendous damage to the person. If you can move away from the seat, they're not tight enough. But they're perfectly comfortable anyway, they actually support you in the right places more so can be more comfortable than a seat belt which lets you slouch. Unless she's a GG cup (in which case pxplxz), she'll be absolutely fine. Rich is right, keep the stock belts as well and then she can wear those instead.
