  1. I mean if he does can we go round and key the crap out of it, to devalue it and make him learn his lesson? I feel that’s appropriate.
  2. If you go FWD I will disown you.
  3. I would imagine it also has a knock sensor, which helps.
  4. I’m sorry, “Rayseng wheels”?!?!?? kinda lost interest in anything else he had to say after that! Front does look okay there, I’ll admit. Rest of the car looks gopping. It’s such an incohesive mess from the A pillar backwards.
  5. I buy loads of stuff from ECP, regardless of car
  6. Anything that complies to BS 7800 will do just fine, if we want to be pedantic about it. Which I very much enjoy
  7. 98 only on anything earlier than a HR 350Z. Else you risk serious engine damage.
  8. After seeing the photos, it’s what I did over my screen
  9. The Z wouldn’t even see which way the Emira went. Unless Lotus sent all their engineers out for coffee and let the work experience lads and Mabel the tea lady have a go, what you are looking at is probably the finest driver’s car this side of… well, an Elise. The finance deals touted for these are spectacular too, I can see these selling out very quickly.
  10. Absolute madness. It’s just a 997 GTS with a double bubble roof and a ducktail!
  11. OPCs are normally pretty decent with test drives, certainly they’ve let me have them overnight before.
  12. My first instinct is to tell you to drive one first, before committing. They are amazing, but not everyone enjoys the weight distribution (I know, some folks are weird!) and it took me a year to get used to it properly. Outside of that, do you want 2WD or 4WD? My initial thoughts would be a 991.1 GTS, as you get the NA engine which is beautiful, plus as a GTS it’ll hold it’s value. The flip side would be the interior isn’t as modern as the current ones, which would certainly be in budget. At the mileage you’re looking at you can certainly expect some depreciation, but it depends on how much mileage you’re intending to put on it. The 991.2 and 992 are both fabulous turbo cars, and are ridiculously quick. Spec will be dependant on previous owner obviously, but I’d consider the 18 way adjustable seats an absolute must have. The other comfort stuff is down to individual taste, but do get the sports exhaust. The PDCC makes the car feel very nimble along with the rear wheel steering, however you do lose the traditional 911 feeling. I couldn’t decide whether I’d buy with or without tbh, and still can’t. Probably without and enjoy that fabulous chassis a bit better, and do the driving myself. I’ve loads more info if you need, see if you can find some examples of cars on PH or wherever and post them up and I’ll see if I can give you any more hints.
  13. They’ll fit in by a whisker. Purrfectly too, by all accounts. I went in with a cat once, only trouble was they wouldn’t let meowt. Since that last one was pushing it a bit, I’ll leave it there.
  14. 100k miles has been absolutely fine for any car produced in the last 20 years, excluding the very exotic. Brits seem to get paranoid at that number for no reason whatsoever.

    Stolen 350z

Cos that’s what always happens when you claim a total loss, there’s nothing left to insure so the policy is cancelled with no refund or you have to pay up the remaining instalments. Standard stuff.
  16. Let someone who will actually use it buy it? The mapping and the condition of the overall car, including service history since the install, is far more important than worrying about an out of date s/c.
  17. https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/toyota_supra_pro_auto Maybe they looked at the figures for the new Supra and went, “Sod that”…
  18. Very possible. Also as likely as Boris and Sturgeon getting caught doing naughty things in a phone booth together.
