That actually makes a lot of sense.
-
Definitely not. It's a new Subaru, not a 1970's Renault. Also, this thread is really making me want one.
-
Thanks, do you have the source for where experts in their field have confirmed this?
-
Thanks Davey. From my reading of that, it basically says that God is going to sit back and do absolutely nothing whatsoever, even in the face of extreme suffering caused by no fault of the person in pain. How could you want to worship someone that evil and cruel? No need to answer that one.
-
Ooh I've got another question (sorry to keep picking your posts apart, genuinely appreciate the replies!). You say you don't agree with all in the bible, which I get, but how do you pick and choose what stuff to believe and what to ignore? Not saying I disagree with your approach, just curious.
-
Source for that?
-
So if he's not punishing anyone, and he has the power to create worlds, why does he let little children suffer in agony? You've still not been able to answer that point.
-
Okay, thousands then. I forgot evolution is off the table.
-
Okay, I get that. However, that doesn't answer my question. Why does a benevolent God, a merciful God, allow babies to get cancer and die? What defect do they have that means God is happy to sit back and let them suffer in horrendous agony? If God is punishing people because of what Adam & Eve did, which was millions of years ago at the very least, then that's a pretty sh*tty thing to be doing, isn't it?
-
So why is he killing children before they have the chance or even the capability to sin? Why is he killing those children born to true believers who never have and never will sin, the righteous and the just?
-
You did, but I'm 99.99% sure that's a DVSA station now. https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/vehicle-and-operator-services-agency https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/driver-and-vehicle-standards-agency/about/access-and-opening Note the first two addresses are the Scottish branches, and are listed as DVSA. VOSA and DSA merged in '14 to create the DVSA. That said, if you fancy walking across the road and confirming that they're still using the VOSA name in Aberdeen I'll be more than happy to retract my statement. I'm literally only going on every bit of info on the official government websites for this, as I can't find any evidence that says VOSA still exist in Scotland at all.

Probably work off IP addresses or summat. Or even better, stays with UK time on the basis that this is a UK site and to hell with the rest of you!- 57 replies

This is the thing. If God, any God, actually exists and is wise and kind and capable of the many great feats as claimed, then He's an utter c*** of a god for letting little kids die of cancer. That for me alone rules out any possibility of there being any such creature.

As Aliveboy says, without a rated towing capacity on the V5 then you cannot tow with it.

I hope the BRDC carry out their threat, and I hope Liberty don't back down and do a new contract that's affordable. I'd quite like to see Silverstone disappear for a few years tbh. Maybe we might get the fabled street circuit that's now possible, even if it means we don't have a BGP for a couple of years. F1 at Silverstone is miles too expensive. £400 for a pit straight grandstand seat? £185 for a Sunday ticket? Naff off mate, it's not even worth going for the noise any more. Nope, I have no love for Silverstone whatsoever.
-
Agreed, and the only reason I carried on with my line of questioning is purely because it makes a nice change to have a debate with a believer who isn't an utter fruitloop and gets angry at everything
-
Everyobe loves a purple end poking out! Looks good mate, am really glad you got rid of that awful thing, that was the biggest bugbear about the cars I drove a couple of years back.
-
Perfect answer, thanks Davey. Mentioning Jehovah suddenly makes the creation of this thread much clearer to me too. Interesting comment about you not entirely believing (there's a huge irony in me using that word here!) in the theory of evolution. Can I ask why, or more specifically what you don't believe is true about it?
-
Davey, no disrespect meant at all by this question but I'm genuinely unsure of your honest opinion on this. Are you a believer of God and the Bible? I assume yes based on that last comment, but other posts you've meant give me doubt. Just want to know which side of the fence you sit really.

The endplates look like they're on backwards. I know they're not as that's the APR design, just looks really odd to the eye. I really like that though, looks good.

Confirmed, many blats later (somehow managed to go for a lovely 2 hour one last Sunday, got back at 8am and still had the whole day to waste) and there is no more oil splashing out anywhere. Hurray! Although I now have squeaky brakes so I may have to treat myself to a pad upgrade.

VOSA no longer exist, they're the DVLA now. They don't check emissions on a general check, we get a lot of these setup around the airport and I've been pulled a couple of times. They're more interested in overweight vehicles or unsafe loads or if the vehicle is clearly an utter shed You'd have to be caught by a specific emissions testing checkpoint, which I'm guessing you'll only find in London as they have the LEZ there. Even then, that only applies to commercial vehicles anyway! Nah, safe to say no-one will ever get caught by these things, not in these days of austerity.
