    Evo 2017 Tyre Test

Indeed. However I tend not to trust other people on the road, hence I make sure that even when they run out of grip, I don't
  2. Have you tested the battery and alternator yet? That's literally the very first thing to try, both Sargara and myself have mentioned this now.

Aye, seems so. Before anyobe else rushes out to buy the 510 because they finished fourth, it's worth noting they were closer in points to 8th than 2nd.

    You ordered the 510s?
  5. Extensions fitted to the knob on the top of the shock, and bring them up through the plastics.
  6. Jeez dude, just trying to maybe adjust your reality so it actually sells. Really no need for the attitude. Still £50 more expensive than buying direct, plus then they wouldn't have to deal with someone with a chip on their shoulder Whatevs though buddy, I'm out and GLWTS
  7. Whilst I see your point, you can't really expect someone to pay £100 more unless they're desperate for the LD part.
  8. You need to get the battery and alternator tested.
  9. There's better suspension out there imho. The EDFC is cool at first, but really you only need two settings: Road and Track. It's a 30sec job to change without electronic control, so don't pay more for that as it's not worth the gadget factor. Change ARBs first, and then see if you want to change springs and dampers. You may well not.
  10. Wash your mouth out! Besides, they can't be, I've crashed a Cayman but never crashed a 911
  11. You may have no choice dependent on insurer, but do be aware that although many mainstream insurers will insure you with mods, they will not cover the cost of replacement should the worst happen. For example, Admiral group will let you put a nice set of wheels on, but if you find a wall jumping out at you one day then they'll only replace them with stock wheels. Unless you pay their extra premium of course... Always worth asking whether the value of the mods is insured, and it might be worth paying more to ensure they are.
  12. In fairness to Cosworth, you're not their customer. Your contract was with Extreme Automotive, so you should only have been speaking to them and pushed them for the resolution. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's a good think when companies ignore the end user, but ultimately they're not set up to deal with anyone bar their suppliers. Glad it's all sorted now though
  13. +millionty to the above. VED is peanuts in the grand scheme of things. It shouldn't factor in your decision at all.
  14. Nope, he needs the female plug that's attached to the wiring. I think.
  15. Technically under s5.4 of the current MOT Manual any airbag removal is a failure, however under para5 of the Introduction there is a caveat for extensively modified or converted vehicles i.e. rally cars or stretch limos. In this case, removal of an airbag is not a failure. However, you'd need to prove to the tester/DVSA that the car is indeed extensively modified for competition use. Modified road cars would not count. However, it's all down to the tester of course...

    New Nismo mk2

On new vehicles, as long as you are fitting like-for-like parts that are the equivalent of OEM quality then warranty is not affected. This is based under the same EU regs that cover you for using non-OEM parts & dealers for servicing. So an exhaust is fine, but if you need new wheel bearings one month after fitting spacers forget it (you won't, of course, just making an exaggerated example).
  17. As long as you tell them you've changed steering wheel, then you're covered. They really don't care if it's got an airbag or not: Why would they?
