Of course I don't think it's a particularly good story at all right now tbh. I'm not really even sure what the story is if I'm honest, aside from there's now a war with the Klingons and they need this magical spore tech to win it, even though we know that magical spore tech doesn't exist by the time TOS starts. I guess my biggest problem is that the characters simply aren't strong enough: The only one who has anything unique about him is the tall grey guy with tentacles behind his ears. Everyone else is instantly forgettable or generic. You certainly couldn't say that for any of the cast of the previous series apart from ENT, and that wasn't great either. It feels like it desperately needs some single story episodes that focus on each main character, to properly introduce us to them. Give me some reason I should care about them, because right now I couldn't give a toss if any of them get killed off.

I've not driven the non-S yet, only the S and that was bloody amazing. I do still want to try the 2.0 718 at some point too.

Well both Ford and Porsche have RS cars, so why not pinch FR too: At least they're in the same group Also, no PCM or rear seats as standard! Superb, even though no-one will ever order one without at least one or the other.

See, I get a huge amount of satisfaction from dispatching slower cars on the road, especially when you see a train of ten cars sitting behind a lorry and you simply time your overtakes to pick them off one at a time. That for me is a key skill on the roads, and one I relish. Easily as satisfying as nailing the apex on track. Trackdays are great, but they're a different kind of fun to a road drive. Tbh (and this will sound ridiculous) but I even enjoy driving on a busy motorway: Being able to spot the gaps and keep as constant speed as possible, whilst all the time keeping left whenever you can (which is quite easy with the amount of MLMs still out there)... Yeah, it's entertaining and again it challenges me as a driver.

T refers to the classic 911s that had the same name, in the way R did on the last gen Cayman. It's also nonsense really Ignoring the name, this is literally the car Porsche fans have been crying out for for years. Less weight, sprint manual gearbox, sport suspension option... Basically it's a mini-GT3 car with a turbo engine but no limit on supply! The only sad thing is it's more expensive than the non-S, which is a huge shame but not remotely surprising. I can see this being very popular, maybe more so than the GTS models.

ST:D is getting worse as the weeks go on. Magic Space Bear cannot be replicated by any other species in the database, but then the engineer gives it a go and manages to not only figure out how to control FTFTL travel but also survives with no obvious injuries at all. Then Magic Space Bear removes 99% of water from his body, is shot into space (where there is no water at all) and suddenly puffs himself back up again. It’s just absolute nonsense, and spoils everything else they’re trying to achieve. Don’t even get me started on a Klingon captain raping a prisoner...

Just do the reset procedure on here, that should sort you out. It’ll be in the FAQs or Guides somewhere.

Which ending did you go for? Refuse?

That's not a dual carriageway. Looking at all the examples, I don't see anything wrong with any of them. One's in a 30 in a village, one's a 40 and the other is probably quite an accident black spot as suicide lanes normally are. No issue with a camera van in a 30, and the other two are regular police cars so if you're not being really stupid then they're not going to bother with you. I spent all of last weekend in Wales in the Impreza, hooning away like I've never hooned before. Amazing roads, some great chances for practicing overtaking, and in all that time I saw but one police car who gave me a warning flash as I overtook another car as I briefly hit 80 in a 60. Sensible policing! Everywhere else I was doing no more than about 65 on the dial, which is plenty enough to have bags of fun and no copper or camera is going to touch you. In a 30 I did 30, in a 40 I did 40 etc, only in the NSL sections did I hit the 80mph on overtakes to minimise my TED. It was absolutely amazing, and proof that the fun in driving isn't doing a ton on the motorway but accelerating between 20 and 60 on the twisties. People are getting caught by cameras and police because they're idiots, and they deserve to get caught tbh. 30 and 40 zones are there for a reason, 50 zone are mostly ex-60 zones that you know are going to policed to catch people who think they can still do 60, and big DCs and Mways are so open that it's like shooting fish in a barrel. If you get caught in any of those places, then I have no sympathy. Choose your places for exciting driving and no-one will bat an eyelid: Do it in stupid places, and you're going to get hammered. If people stopped speeding for a year, there's be no money left to fund more cameras or have coppers sat there waiting for the easy catch. Everytime someone gets caught, they're simply encouraging more enforcement.

Never played Rogue, I'd moved onto Xbone by then. Should probably give it a go. I really enjoyed Unity and Syndicate, Black Flag was okay but I really hate the ship sections in that and 3. Nothing beats killing the Pope in 2 though, or murdering Kristen Bell in AssBro.

Let me know when you guys hit stage 2 or stage 3
-
You need to leave it running it it's own window really, but I guess that depends on where you're playing it. So no, it doesn't save, but it should stay okay if you minimise the browser. I started again last night, currently sat at 230 septillion clips.

If you liked the first one then you'll definitely enjoy the new one. It feels a tad easier, and even though I've nearly finished the first half of the second main stage I've not actually unlocked the ability to recruit anyone yet. Given that's the main premise of the game, I reckon there's a hell of a lot of content here. Far too easy to get waylaid by killing every captain you come across though

Certainly careless driving (driving that falls below the standard expected of a competent driver) and arguably dangerous driving (the way he/she drives falls far below what would be expected of a competent and careful driver, and it would be obvious to a competent and careful driver that driving in that way would be dangerous). And tbh, I'm not sure there's an argument against the latter charge.

Meh, I'll cross post my own post Bunch of utter f*ckwits. But then, so are the people standing there filming it and cheering. Idiots encourage other idiots, and to act like a prat when you know full well you're being filmed... I'll never understand the mindset. If you want to have a play then fine, go do it when it's deserted and you're not endangering other vehicles. I've explored the limits of grip before, but there's a time and a place. What really bugs me most though is why these things aren't self-policed. Why, when people see others or their mates acting like d*cks and risking the whole thing for everyone, do they not go and have a quiet word before it gets out of hand? Or even stop inviting their chavvy muppet friends along in the first place?

http://www.decisionproblem.com/paperclips/ Off you go. It's had me hooked the last couple of days, waaaaay deeper than you might initially think. There's a definitive end to this too.

Titanfall 2 SP was really really good, but I didn't enjoy the MP as much as I did TF1. I love all the Day Of Sex games I'm really hoping they do a new one next year.

Bubbling paint behind mirrors. (warranty repair)
Ekona replied to pistonbroke's topic in Paint & Protection
Maybe they will, but I would still push them to give you an official letter detailing the technical reason behind the warranty refusal. Put the ball in their court, if it's reasonable then fair enough but if not and you you can get a second opinion (preferably from whatever third party bodyshop they use!) then you're laughing. -
Buy a Switch, not a Wii-U as they're dead as a dead thing now. I'm a huge AC fan too, but I'm waiting for reviews first as this is a massive departure from how AC used to be. Could be better, could be worse, but I'm not getting stung on it. Shadow Of War is keeping me entertained enough for now anyway.

You need to be pushing harder. Ask them for the reason of rejection in writing, as you'll use that as part of your documentation in court. -

Don't think they will, it's just another half-arsed game from Polyphony in the vein of the Prologues. As someone who played GT4 to death back in the day I can appreciate what a good game they can make, but how people keep praising them when they take 10x as long to make a game half as complete as competitors is beyond me.
