I put 37 hours into ACO over the first weekend It’s an absolute tour de force of an AC game. There is so much to do, and none of it involves collecting feathers or flags, so you just want to explore the entire mahoosive map. I wasn’t sure on Egypt first as a setting, but now I’ve totally bought into it completely. It looks simply stunning on PC at 1080/60 at Ultra, and it’s only the slowdowns that plague that version in the cities that irks at all (I’m personally seeing drops into the low 50fps at times, and have had to upgrade my HSF due to the game wanting to run the CPU at 100% for extended periods due to bad optimisation). Bayek is the best character since Ezio too, proper mean but proper funny at times too. I sorely missed AC last year, but this was so worth waiting for. If I hadn’t played Life Is Strange this year, then this would be the best game I’ve played in the last 12 months.

Any remap, be it flash of the stock ECU/piggyback/stand-alone, is only as good as the person doing the remap. To cannibalise an old saying, choose any two out of cheap, safe and powerful.

Good lord, remove it! Looks like a dodgy Ripspeed sticker like that

The answer is staggeringly obvious, as it is with all cases where planning permission has been granted/refused where it clearly shouldn’t have been: Your brown envelope either wasn’t full enough, or didn’t reach the right person. Fill another one and try again.

It's the equivalent of an extra beer once a week. It's absolutely peanuts.

In black with the Weissach pack (don’t think that has it looking at those wheels), that’s my perfect car.

Third thread this week...!

Yeah... It won't. Ignoring the power difference completely, you won't get the extra 1000rpm that really makes the HR feel special. VED cost is utterly irrelevant if you're going to mod anyway Find me a DE that makes the same power as the HR with no FI and that doesn't cost more than the extra £2K you'd need to get into a HR in the first place. I mean, get a DE if that's all you can afford as they're still brilliant but as the HR is just better in every conceivable way that if you can, you really should.

Would’ve been until you tried to get me to deep throat.

I make sure never to sit in the seat after he's sat in it, just in case he gets me pregnant

But can it tell if you're only a little gay? Like, if you only kiss the tip? Asking for a friend.

Who? Oh, that guy. Right. He's left now then? Didn't notice. I could spend a paragraph or two gushing over how awesome he is, but any guy who can father two sets of twins back to back probably knows how manly he is So I'll make it nice and simple: Lexx, cheers for everything matey.

Fifteen I believe. Second season has also unsurprisingly been confirmed now too.

Just a smack mind, not a grab. That would be harrassment or something.

Funny, that was the line that jumped out at me as well. Ironically if you'd just put "laptop not working, no idea why, battery light comes on when charger is plugged in but no signs of life other than fans running intermittently, HDD has been removed as well" you might have been better off. I'd probably still argue anyway as you do clearly state that there's no sign of life and it won't turn on, but just be careful about what you write in ads in future. Remember that everyone looking is a scamming idiot, and you won't go far wrong.

You never told me you'd been drinking 9 litres a day! Bloody hell, that's insane. Especially with other drinks on top. 2-3L is normally plenty for an average person, isn't it? And if the Carry On films are anything to go by, all nurses like a cheeky smack on the bum.

Maybe running in gently was the problem, never really gave the rings a proper chance to seal. Not that I'd have done any differently mind, always better to go with manufacturer advice since they're picking up the bill.

I wouldn't offer him a penny. If it was sold as described (give us the link?) then that's his tough luck. Stand by your guns.

He was locked up with the captain, Klingons knew about Discovery, not hard to make the leap that Mudd said he could help them get it? I get where you're coming from, and I do know that I've gone from hating it to loving it in one episode, but all the leaps of faith in this one just seem tiny compared to the last few episodes. Maybe a lot of it is just that I'm glad we're back to interesting one-off stories, rather than epic story arc that actually seemed to be going nowhere and getting more preposterous all the time. And Magic Space Bear is still ridiculous

Post natal abortion would solve a lot of the issues.

A condition of the refund must be that the item is returned, but I wouldn't expect to see it in any usable condition sadly. Such is the bane of dealing with 'tards on eBay.

Bloody disabled, coming over here and stealing our cuppas...

I'd fight it. Worse case eBay side with the buyer anyway, but you've nothing to lose by arguing your case. Make a factual statement and send it to eBay, it's not unknown that sellers do win these sometimes. It all comes down to how well the item was advertised really.

My family GP as a kid was an Indian chap called Dr Rashid, nicest guy I've ever met in the medical world. House calls were common back then after a day's work in the surgery, I remember him coming out to see me a few times when I was sick. We're only talking the late '80s here, so not exactly pre-war. I think Rabbitstew makes a good point, and he's not portrayed it in a racist way either. I don't feel particularly comfortable when the person treating me is speaking in such a strong accent that I struggle to understand it, regardless of colour of skin. That goes as much for doctors from Glasgow as it does for doctors from Ghana: Indeed, I struggle understanding the former much more, so heaven help me if I'm ever sick north of the border! Personally I couldn't give a fig where the person who is treating me is from, and they can all be from anywhere else for all I care. As long as the treatment is good and I can understand the treatment when explained to me, then I'm fine with that. That applies as much to anyone born in the UK as born anywhere else, which I think is reasonable enough.
