  1. It's okay, but they still haven't got as good a notation as Harmonix have on the RB series. I did buy this though, and whilst the Metallica tracks are good fun everything else (especially the live tracks) are very poorly implemented and wishy-washy.
  2. I'm in for that price 1: Sunset350z 2: AndWood 3. Spr1ngy 4. Ian 5. GrantMitchell (dont dare look at the site in case I spend a fortune ) 6. Chris`I 7. Beavis 8. Maccaman 9. Dragonball 10. DMZ33 11. choptop (depends on final price though) 12: Ekona
  3. It does if it means you're left with them knocking around the house and can't get rid of them
  4. My turn: Focus 1.8 TDdi: First car I bought myself, still miss it on occasion. MR2 Roadster w/Hass turbocharger kit: First car I ever modded. It went through many different changes when I had it, but this is where it ended up and certainly the most tasteful. I'm still in touch with the two owners after me, which is a bit odd as I sold it to a dealer and never had any contact with them at all! It's still being well cared for, and it's kinda nice to know it's in a good home. VXR220 w/TMS stage 2 tune: First car bought with a bit of knowledge about cars! Now resides with a good friend of mine, so still get to drive it every now and then. Stupidly quick, both on road and on track. I don't miss it as much as I should do really, but that's probably a good thing as it means I sold it when the time was right for me.
  5. Should've checked first I'd rather use the cardboard the pads came in as friction material rather than the Greenstuff pads themselves. Horrible, useless, dusty things.
  6. Legally you have to, regardless of whether you're going to drive at night or not. For the sake of a few quid and given how easy they are to fit and remove, it seems daft not to.
  7. Nothing dodgy about that, at least the seller is being honest. The ad will get pulled though as you have to offer PayPal when selling through eBay, and he says cash or bank transfer only.
  8. If you want an iPhone you have to go to O2, so they've got you over a barrel. More than enough people want one to ensure that they don't really need to bargain at all, so I can't see much of an answer here. To put it in perspective, I've had a 2G iPhone since Jan last year, and have 10 other phones with O2 all comfortably spending over £40pcm, yet O2 wouldn't let me upgrade my current contract 9 days early so I could pick a 3GS up in the O2 shop yesterday. I don't exactly mind the wait, but it shows you just how hard-nosed they can afford to be right now.
  9. I do believe he is pimping his car for sale.
  10. You do know how eBay works, yes? That's a silly price now. You could get a really decent aftermarket one for that.
  11. Insurance is almost irrelevant here, it's more about simple common sense. If you've just had some kind of operation, especially on your legs or arms, then the last thing you should be doing is getting behind the wheel of a 1.5 ton lump of metal and driving at speeds of up to 70mph in it. That's just dangerous to other road users and pedestrians, never mind yourself. You may think you're fine, but I'm willing to bet the doctor/surgeon knows better and wouldn't have recommended a minimum period you shouldn't drive for without good reason. If you have an accident, your fault or not, who do you think is going to get called as an expert witness is court? And how do you think that's going to look?
  12. Anything by Acer. By far the best laptops I've ever used.
  13. On a wind-tunnel tested Evo perhaps, certainly not stuck on the back of a 350Z. Tbh for those things to be of any use at all you'd have to be doing silly speeds, and much like all aftermarket items that claim to adjust the air flow (diffusers etc) they're simply not going to do anything unless you spend a fortune on working on the aerodynamics on the rest of the car. If you want stuff like that for the looks then go for it (I'm desperate to get my hands on a rear diffuser kit myself), but don't kid yourself they'll actually do anything to the way the car handles.
  14. It's only three days. Suck it up and leave the car in the garage.
  15. It'd be worth it just for the compensation claim you could get off him
  16. It won't increase your power as such, but it will do much the same as a lightened flywheel and reduce parasitic losses from the engine, giving you more power at the wheels which is where you want it.
  17. Yes, it does. Mine was crap, had it adjusted, was fine for about a year, now needs adjusting again
  18. No difference in putting GT-R badges on a Skyline than putting M badges on a 318i, and we all know how many people do that!
  19. I don't do this myself, but I do know people who leave their car unlocked regardless of what's inside. The theory being that if someone really wants to get in then they will, and at least if everything is open then there's nothing they can damage by trying to get in. Completely invalidates your insurance mind, but if that wasn't the case that's what I'd do. As it stands I feel the standard security is enough.
  20. It'll get raped, along with your entire drivetrain. No harm in doing it every so often, but it's not something I'd ever make a habit out of.
  21. Why 300? If you really want an easy 300bhp, just sell yours and buy an '06 or GT4
  22. No Nissan mechanic with any common sense is ever going to write a letter like that. They'd soon fail to be a Nissan mechanic if they did. You've got two options really Rich, neither particularly great. Either suck up the cost of getting it fixed yourself, or go through the industry watchdog and wait for about 2 years until they sort it out with Nissan direct. If it were me I'd do the former to save the politics and just write it into the cost of owning the car, but then I can't stand anything political and would start getting the hump if I did the latter!
  23. Ekona

    How often?

Clay twice a year, wax every couple of months, good clean every week or so depending on how often I've driven it.
  24. Take the vinyls off? Are you insane? They're staying on until after JAE this year at the very least, I'm planning to get the most out of them! In previous years the small shopping list ones are a bugger to remove, but the big stuff is a piece of cake. Literally just pulls off with no issues.
  25. Sounds plausible enough to me. I'm not sure I'd want my Murci serviced by anyone out in the desert either, although for that sort of money I think I'd just send it back to Sant Agata to do it. If you've got the money, then why not give the car to a garage you trust? I used to drive a 100 mile round trip to get my car serviced as they were the only people I trusted to work on it without breaking it.
