  1. Gentle bump as these are still for sale
  2. This. Anything else is hideously selfish parking IMHO, and you're really asking for it. If it was a Zonda or a Veyron then you might be excused, but it's only a bloody Nissan at the end of the day. I usually just park normally as far away from the entrance to the shop as possible, as that way you're less likely to get people parking next to you anyway as they're all lazy bastards. That said, if it happens then it happens, it's not the end of the world and it's only a car. Mine's got a lovely scrape mark up the door but I really can't see it when I'm inside and blatting down the B-roads
  3. Definitely under warranty as the OEM one stays with the car, not the person, no need to register or anything. I've already claimed twice for mine and I'm the second owner.
  4. We thought she was a boy until we discovered her 'sister' was the one that had testicles Damn RSPCA had mixed their names up when sexing them!
  5. On the same theme, call him Dee? *gets coat* I called one of my cats Geldof. I can't stand Sir Bob, but his surname just fits a cat perfectly, even if said cat is female
  6. Always a good reason to use and abuse a set of wheels! I'll pop you a PM and we can get the details sorted.

    05 or 06?

Having sat back to back in mine and Rich's, I'd say it was almost night and day. The layout seems a lot better in the '06 (placing of the hazard switch and the mini-cubbys in the armrest), and certainly the plastics are a lot nicer to look at than all the elephant-hide stylee in the early cars. The silver HVAC controls are a nice little touch but not that critical, but I do prefer the extra cupholder on the pax side in the early cars compared to the useless drawer thing in the '06+.

    05 or 06?

Personally speaking the interior on the '06 is so much improved that it's worth saving a bit more and getting an '06 GT car, after all that's where you spend most of the time
  9. While it's not a true test, and you could still technically get a s59 for it if you were being a tit, I passed my MOT last week with it on.

    17's?

its good to know, but in order to do that i'd need to borrow a set while the work was done. Buy mine for £200, sell them on when you're done to the next person who wants to get their wheels done;)

    17's?

Clicky clicky In the arse end of nowhere, but really decent guys. Owner used to run a Zed, too

    17's?

The place where I had my Rays done charged a mere £35 per wheel, or £45 if you wanted them done in a particular finish. I was really happy with the finished article too.
  13. I got my bill through today funnily enough. 2-bed house, occasional occupancy during the day, combined gas & electric for the last quarter was £240. I refuse to pay DD as I'd rather have the money sitting in my account getting me interest than in theirs.
  14. I now have my Rays back and refurbished with another set to be collected soon so no longer have need for these, so they're up for sale. There's mild kerbing on the fronts but the rears are in much better condition, and there is absolutely no buckling on them at all. Would make a perfect set of track/winter wheels, or you could even do what I did and just use them as a temporary solution while you get your decent alloys refurbished. I've even given them a quick clean today, hence the wet patio below them! I've only had them a few months and am only looking to recoup what I paid for them, so they're up for £200. Collection only please, either from Braintree or my workplace at Stansted Airport.
  15. I've run nitrogen filled tyres for the last two years now, and while there is noticeable benefits on track there's not so much of a difference on road. That said, nitro filled tyres hold their pressures over a period of time far better than normal air: I've yet to need a top up on a nitro filled tyre. Well worth doing if you can get your hands on it.
  16. Good man, that's exactly the right attitude to have I reckon

    Space Saver Issues

You should always put a space saver on the rear wheels, yes. That way you'll get issues with traction, but not with the steering which is when you really would have trouble. That goes for any car, not just the Zed.
  18. While it may seem like the copper was way out of line, I don't actually think it's as bad as it sounds. In fact, I reckon he's actually done you a favour by warning you that he's 'after you', as I can almost guarantee that you're going to stick to the speed limits for the foreseeable future. I'm also willing to bet that he knows this, and by giving you what appears to be a ridiculously harsh warning he's enforcing the law without needless paperwork and without actually giving someone points and a fine. When I was younger I was in a similar situation, and it wasn't until I looked back and thought about it I realised that he was actually a really decent guy for saying what he did. Police these days know exactly what their limits are and won't step over them due to the litigation-happy society we've become, and this is his way of giving a big warning to you. Take it on the chin, remember the limits and don't speed.
  19. Please be very careful driving like that, especially with brand new Toyos on the back. The rear will have a noticeable tendency to want to overtake the front, and in all honesty I wouldn't drive it like that unless absolutely necessary, and even then I'd granny it. Camskill have a legal right to take the tyre back at their own cost and replace. Just make sure you take plenty of photos before in case they decide to argue the toss when the tyre comes back, as I've never heard of a Toyo with a beading fault.
  20. There's a similar kind of layout in Colchester which is great fun, especially when you go one way and the guy sitting on your ass goes the other, and you still manage to beat him to the exit the other side!
