  1. What did you pay for them? When I used to do the same for colleagues when I smoked I always charged about £20 which was just about break even, but that was about 5 years ago now.

    New Brakes

I'll let you know after the 31st
  3. Not suing, but complaining to the BBC Trust I think. Tbh I can't say I blame them, and I'd be doing the exact same in their shoes after the shambles that masqueraded as QT.
  4. ARGH DON'T WIPE THE MAF SENSOR!!! It's a very sensitive piece of equipment: Go and buy some carb cleaner from Halfrauds and spray a load of that on and leave to dry. If you're lucky you haven't knackered it by over oiling, and may just save the cost of buying a new one. This is the single reason that, for the low cost of it compared with a MAF, I just replace the filter on mine instead of trying to clean it. For £60, is it worth it?
  5. Hmmm, I'm not so sure about her. Her views on homosexuality aren't exactly subtle (although she did well to dig herself out of the hole she almost made), and whilst she certainly spoke with an air of calmness and authority that the others lacked I can't help but feel she was only there because the Conservatives wanted to show the other face of their party i.e. black and Islamic. Surely a more senior Conservative would've been a better choice rather than just play the other side of the race card? Jack Straw may be a useless muppet, but at least he's been around the block and is well known to most of the general public.
  6. It was an absolute waste of time. Dimbleby was far from the neutral chair that this programme so desperately needed, and to invoke Godwin's Law so early on just made for a bout of hysteria in the audience. They didn't give Griffin a chance to speak, instead preferring to spend all their time telling him what he said in the past and then shouting over him when he tried to respond. Just look at Jack Straw: The more he spoke, the more bumbling and cretinous he became as he simply had no idea what the hell he was talking about, and if they'd have let Griffin talk for more than 20 secs at a time it would've been like giving him enough rope to hang himself with. Instead we're no further knowing any of the BNPs policies or just how they would go about things given a chance (some would say that's not a debate for QT in the first place, but the BBC certainly wanted it to be), we're back to the same set of half-truths we all knew before.
  7. Probably not. Tbh it's not like there's only a very subtle difference between the two cars: A quick look under the bonnet would have told you what engine it had, or even (although this isn't infallible) a glance at the bonnet itself! Actually, scratch both of those, looking at the rev counter should've told you depending on if it went to 7K or 7.5K rpms. You knew enough about the different revisions to want the 313 model, yet didn't think to check that it was one before you paid your money? Sorry bud, but I can't be the only one here thinking that this is a problem entirely of your making, and unless it was mis-sold as a 313bhp model (which I bet it wasn't if it came via a Nissan dealer, as they tend not to put things like that on their adverts) then I'd just suck it up and put it down to a mistake you're not likely to make again.
  8. Just like it says to do in the instruction manual
  9. A search for iPod and Bose brings up 131 matches over 6 pages, and you're telling us you couldn't find anything?! Anyways, I'm in a generous mood so I'll tell you the quick way: Always check the FAQs out first But in short you'll have to ditch the Bose, which is no great loss.
  10. It's true to a point though, just check out Hamilton. Arguably the most talented guy out there, but with a useless car he's nothing and that's what Button has had throughout his F1 career; Alonso and Massa likewise. Unfortunately that's mostly been the case with F1 in recent years and the only comparisons you can make between drivers is between team-mates driving the same car. The best drive on Sunday came from Hamilton IMHO: 17th to 3rd makes Button's 14th to 5th not look quite so impressive, especially considering the McLaren is by far the weaker car still. If Alonso and Massa don't end up in a screaming fit next year, and if McLaren can continue their progress, then we're in for a hell of a battle as I think that Brawn with Jenson will still be up there.

You got them on now? Ooh, we need to meet up so I can feel what they're like, might well be replacing the PS2s on mine next time round if they're any good

    Tyres

Unfortunately they don't make those in the correct sizes for the rear, as I was looking for a set at the weekend. They make them in the rear for standard wheels 245/45Y18 but not the front. My bad, wrong way round Greekman runs the 40 profile and reports no issues. I myself have doubts over the sizes as well (nothing to do with Greekman before anyone jumps to conclusions!) as like you I fear the ESP is going to have a hissy fit and get it's knickers in a knot.
  13. Wow, loads of decent stuff on there, quite fancy the '06 Zed hoodie meself Those links are from the US site, don't forget to change it to .co.uk on the end to order from the UK site

    lucky

By the time the light comes on it's too late. You will have suffered some damage to your engine, just how much is to be determined.
  17. Seeing as how you'd still have to use some kind of sticky tape to get these covers on to your lights anyway, I can't help but think that they're a massively over-engineered solution to a problem that doesn't really exist

    Tyres

Don't run mixed tyres front and back though, change all four if you're going to do it.
  19. I don't clean mine at all. For the cost of it, and not wanting to risk getting oil over the MAF, I just bin the filter and replace it with a new one which IIRC was about £65 from Envy.
  20. Fantastic race to watch, especially that first lap Hats off to Button and Brawn, just feel so sorry for Ruby as he really has no luck at all at Sao Paulo
  21. Tin of paint and a brush? Seriously, pick a decent colour and you could make a really nice job of it
  22. Right, I see what you're getting at now, my mistake. Surely it'd be easier just to set the software to show the correct figure as other Dynapack machines do? Sorry, I really don't mean to sound argumentative here as I personally think those numbers and curves look fantastic and have certainly convinced me that I'll happily chuck my car your way in the near future to have the remap done
  23. Why is the torque scale so far out on all the graphs? I mean, it'd be nice to have 1100lb/ft but I do think that's a tad unrealistic for a V6 N/A Personally I can't see anything much wrong with the original graphs you posted: You can clearly see the increase between the two runs, and if anything those later graphs confuse matters as they only start from 4.5K rpm so don't show the true picture. And yeah, pleasing all of the people all of the time and stuff
