  1. God damn that's beautiful

    GTR Alloys on 350Z

Personally I don't like them. They make the car look too small, like a giant rollerskate or something.
  3. Just get the correct sizes, even if you have to wait.

    Width ?

Exactly what I had to do when I had my VXR, and it's a damn sight harder to get out of the Zed in my garage. The VXR never had the roof on in the garage so like you say it's a piece of cake to get out of, however I have to park the Zed to one side just to give myself enough room to squeeze out of.
  5. Ship to where? Weight is approx 90kg so courier isn't going to be peanuts, but if you're happy to pay it I will consider shipping if you want to get a few quotes.
  6. Pay for it like everyone else I would imagine
  7. With two knobs the front one adjusts the front of the seat base up/down, the second knob does the rear of the seat base up/down.
  8. I don't know if having a 30 profile all round is keeping the rolling radius the same. If you use the link I supplied then you'll see that it keeps the rolling radius as close to original specs as is possible. Don't just take my word for it, give it a go yourself and see.
  9. What he meant was is that it's not a 313ps HR engined MY07 car. It certainly is a 2007 car though.
  10. Nice wall/fence Car must've been made just before the MY07 HR revision assuming the bonnet is standard, but all the cool kids have the revup anyway Good to see you've got the roof down too
  11. Use this and all shall be revealed 245/30/20 and 285/30/20 are the correct sizes if you're going to keep the rolling radius the same.
  12. None do, and you have to change the head unit to do it properly. A search reveals all.
  13. Sports car = 2 doors, 2 seats, mid-engined, convertible. SEOT
  14. RE040 = rubbish tyre RE050A = very good tyre Now you tell me what the difference between front and rear grip balance is going to be like now.
  15. Love the way it says on the advert, 'SAFETY FEATURES... AIRBAG DRIVER, AIRBAG PASSENGER': Whilst technically they're both still there, not sure they're of much use now!
  16. How the hell do you do 130 leptons without realising it?! That's driving idiocy.
  17. I think going backwards and forwards like this isn't helping anyone really. When you source parts from one place and get somewhere else to fit it, you take on a certain amount of responsibility yourself, and issues like you mention are not uncommon. I'm not saying that you don't have cause to feel wronged, but looking at it from an outside view it would appear that your anger should lie more with A To Z and LUK than with Envy IMHO. Couriers are a PITA at the best of times, and it's not always as cut and dried with their collection/delivery times as we would like.
  18. Right, gotcha. I still disagree though even if that's the case: Sometimes things go wrong in business and it's not always the fault of the company, and whilst it's always important to maintain customer relations it's not worth doing it all the time when it's not your fault, as you'd soon not have a business to run with all the excess costs! Had the flywheel supplied by the OP been fine then there would've been no issues here, but from that one thing it's all spiralled out of control and gotten steadily worse. No one has come out of this with no blame, but it's important for all parties to move on and learn their lessons.
  19. I disagree. It's always good to hear both sides of the story, and in this case not only has Gaz argued his case but (more importantly) he has apologised for the mistakes made. I'd rather hear an honest answer like that than the complete denials we had from Rik recently.
  20. Exactly right. If you've got 32GB of music in your car, then why would you need CDs? I don't miss them at all, especially not the fannying around of either carrying loads in the car or running out of tunes because you haven't got enough.
  21. Actually I've just re-read your post and I've come across as a bit harsh, sorry 'bout that Tbh (and this is my final comment, promise!) if you can't afford to get a set of tyres then you've bought the wrong car. Applies to just about every type of car out there, be it a Hummer rolling on 30" blings or the tiniest 1960's Mini with diddly lickle wheels. It's a £30K car and needs respecting as such, and that includes the cost of appropriate tyres.
  22. No worries, have a search around the forum as there's plenty of people who have changed and see if you can find something you like. I run an Alpine X305 myself and love it, as it complements the iPhone I use very well.
  23. There isn't a manufacturer in the world who sells cars with mismatched tyres, and I can't think of a single serious race team that does either. Ask yourself why, and then look into the difference between compounds, treads and why mixing tyres is a bad idea. Make your own decisions. Having come from VX220s myself there were very few people who ran mismatched tyres (at least on .org and type116.com), so that's a bit misleading. If there were 5 people that did, then there were 500 that didn't.
