  1. Sounds perfectly fair to me, and you did the right thing by not accepting the car back.
  2. Car recovered? Did the HPI check not pick that up? Or does that not refer to the usual stolen/recovered? Tbh it's had the big things done so could well be avoid buy, but I'd want to know why the engine and gearbox went pop, and if the underlying issues have been fixed.
  3. Ah makes sense now! I'm glad they both found someone to talk to She's still available to swap for that exhaust if anyone's interested
  4. That'll be my missus, Jo. Unless someone else was sitting in it at some point that I wasn't aware of! Let me know if you're interested, I'll do a swap for a Nismo exhaust
  5. Yup, definitely for overflow/expansion only. Those marks are there to cover Nissan in terms of warranty claims more than anything else.
  6. Is there anything left in the tank at all? If so, then just pop to a Nissan dealer and buy a bottle of the proper coolant. The bottle is an overflow reservoir, so as longas there's something in there then you'll have enough in the system.
  7. I always expect the worst in answers
  8. Tyre profiles alone won't cause issues, it's what profile you have in regards to tyre width that can.
  9. What a way to annoy your entire workforce.
  10. Because it's bloody good and well priced, I would imagine.
  11. Oh good lord they wee on those from a great height
  12. As good as? They're far superior if you're referring to the previous gen 1.8L Clios.

    URGENT !!

Don't mix tyres front and rear, if you can't get those change all four. Also check the wear on the other tyre if you can just replace one, if it's more than 50% then change them as a pair too.
  14. I'd rather have kerbed wheels than put those monstrosities on my car
  15. Oh yeah! You can blame the PH filter for defaulting to sort highest first for that c*ck-up! One of those it is then. Sounds like you're pretty set on one anyway.
  16. You'll never get either for £2K, 172s are £4K and a GTi will be a very leggy one at that price point. That said, if having a leggy one doesn't matter then that'd be what I'd go for.

    Decals

If you can get a hi-res pic of them from anywhere on the interweb (as in graphic rather than a photo) then any sticker place will be able to make them up: Try Dan at Hollographics.
  18. Very nice, have a good trip fella
  19. Terrific piece of kit and everyone should have them. How much discount out of interest? They're £35 from Demon Tweeks so would need to beat that really.

    255 on rears

I can assure you a ZZ3 in 245 will be the same width as a T1R in 245 Stick with the stock width and profile unless you have cause to change them, and then you change them in relation to each other (i.e. you go wider at the front, you go wider at the back).
  21. If you click the button on the LHS of the topic title it'll take you to the last place you read.
  22. Don't just send them a file with your CV on though, think outside of the box and get yourself noticed: You're going into marketing/PR after all. Make the covering letter look like a rip-off of an advert from the firm you're applying for, i.e. for BMW you'd make it dark and moody and make a play on the words 'Efficient Dynamics' or 'Ultimate Driving Machine' (Ultimate Driving Marketer? I dunno, I've never worked in marketing as you can probably tell!). Or send it in etched into an old brake disc or something, just make it different.
  23. Top work, and good to see EBC replying so quickly too
  24. Nice one Husky, I look forward to their response.
