Anyone shed any light on this for me? I'm sure I'm missing the obvious here.
I have a USB device that records music (it's a guitar fx board). On the Win10 Sound Recording tab, it happily shows that it's receiving an input, and using Audacity I can record whatever I want no worries at all. It plays back fine too. So why can't I get Windows to play the sound back instantly live (without recording) via the speakers hooked up to my PC? I've done it before, completely accidentally and completely unwanted, but now I want to do it I can't I want to pick up and play the live sound from the board straight via USB to my PC speakers, basically.
What am I doing wrong here?
