  1. I had a TomTom One XL in mine and it was a perfect fit with perfect reception all the time. I ran the power cable inside the centre console and down to the power outlet by the passenger's RH knee. Much better than being stuck with an in-built unit IMHO, meant I could simply lift it out and plug it into the PC to upload stuff and sort out ITN files.
  2. There's a Respect And Dignity At Work Act? Seriously? Bloody hell, what's the world coming to?! Anyways, that example isn't bullying, that's the boss being a ****. Agreed I wouldn't particularly like to be on the end of it, and I might even kick off back (and have done in the past when someone's spoken to me like that), but it's hardly bullying. The way I see it you've got three choices: You can either go up as a team (and I mean all 12 of you) and tell him you're not happy with his attitude, or you can accept that the bloke is a bit of a pain and be grateful you've got a job but keep an eye on other opportunities, or you can quit now and find something else. Umm, so how does you breaching your contract put you in a better position? Work your notice but barely work IYSWIM, that's what everyone else does.
  3. Personally I'd stick with a Squeezebox and a separate HD, far more common and loads of different ways of setting it up and running it. Probably no better technically than the JB7, but the amount of options and Logitech's experience and quality in the market would make it difficult for me to go for something else.
  4. Define bullying. Is it getting you to do more work than everyone else, snide comments continually, unfair pay etc? Or is it just that he's an arse?
  5. I'm very tempted, is £390 ish + fitting really a bargain? Can you notice it that much? Yes, absolutely. I fitted them one at a time, and every piece I put on made an immense difference to the car. I think that the mid x-brace actually does the least in terms of feel, but in conjunction with the other three bits you end up with a wonderfully communicative chassis that's very adjustable on the limit.
  6. Right, definitely worth doing along with the diff oil too.
  7. How many miles has the car done?
  8. Depends. Do you actually game a lot and struggle with getting the resolution and AA/AF you require? Do you have many DX11 games, or are you intending on buying many? Even one would be a significant upgrade from what you have now, but unless there's games you want it for I personally wouldn't bother.
  9. Can't hurt to change the gearbox oil, when was it last done?
  10. You have the DE revup engine then.
  11. You can never have too much power!!!!11 *buys two*
  12. The Daily Fail ran with the same story too I believe, relating it to those three kids that died the other day whilst out on a joyride in a Civic. Sensationalist nonsense, not worth giving it the column inches IMHO.
  13. What engine? The HR engine makes significantly more gearbox whine than the DE in my experience.
  14. Then how do you know it all? Where's any of the detail in what you're saying? I've given you links to where I'm getting my info from, where anyone can look it over and have their say on it. All you seem to be providing in return is Daily Mail-style rhetoric. Like I said, if what you're saying is true then I support you, but you really need to start providing some kind of evidence here. Given that they're not actually planning to sell every last bit off for car parking (which of course you'd know if you read the publicly accessible data), then the scare tactics are a tad disappointing.
  15. Ooh, one letter out, I was close!
  16. The Admiral group have dropped their premiums by a considerable amount recently, and I'm assuming that's because everyone has put theirs up so they'll take a loss on the first year on the gamble of repeat business by people too lazy to shop around. Pretty clever idea if you ask me, and it's certainly paying off as even I switched to them as of tomorrow because no-one else could get anywhere close to them on price.
  17. I would imagine they have either the word runflat on them, or RF, or similar.

    Hankook Tyres

RS2s are very good, wouldn't bother with anything else in their range though really.

    first service

Yup, take it wherever you want. Just remember that the sales and service departments are separate and while you've found the sales side to be rubbish (why did you buy from them if it was that bad?), the service guys could be brilliant. Just a thought.
  20. They do make an 050A run flat though, so just be aware when you order them
