  1. Anything but Turtle Wax cleaning prods
  2. Blimey, you don't want much in just 2 hours do you??!! If you only want to change two then you have to stick with OEM, so either Nissan who will rape you or Zmanalex or R35Lee would be who I would see. If you want to go aftermarket you'll have to change all four, and then it's just down to how deep your pockets are or what you're going to use the car for. Time to change is about half a day if you're in no rush.
  3. Try putting car stereo head units into Google and go crazy.
  4. Give us a bit more info, you don't have to name names or anything.
  5. Only works in US cars, UK & Jap cars don't have the spare connector. You either need to do the tape hack or replace the head unit, I strongly suggest the latter.
  6. You can't get a DA hot enough to do any damage to the paint, so as long as you don't use sand as a cutting compound you'll be fine. An average guy with a DA will remove more swirls than a pro with his hands. They really are that good, see my recent thread to prove that even a numpty can get some incredible results with one!
  7. As a plumber, I can confirm that the ladies toilets are always a much worse place to be than the gents. Much, much worse. Although nothing quite beats the taste of a misplaced ****-crystal when jetting urinal pipework
  8. On topic, please chaps.
  9. Massa is now F1's biggest loser IMHO. Bearing in mind he came within 1 corner of winning the championship a few years ago, and now all he does is drop off and move over the second Alonso comes near him, and you've got a case for the most pointless driver in F1 currently. It's all well and good backing one driver over another halfway through the season when one's already built a substantial points advantage, but on the first race? C'mon, that's not right. I feel sorry for the guy as he's a really nice bloke, but he needs to leave either Ferrari or F1 completely to start winning stuff again.
  10. Tyre size does not dictate pressure, the tyre type itself does. As has been mentioned in this thread already, I'd go for 37psi all round as a start, probably moving up to 38psi.
  11. I love them, they're superb on the road as no-one expects you to be able to corner that quickly!
  12. As people have said above, stuff like the FK452s will need more pressure in them to cope with the soft sidewalls so 37-38psi would be more appropriate, whereas something like the PS2s would need less. Tyres like the R888s will need even less pressure in them, dropping down to 20psi isn't unreasonable although I found 22F/23R gave a nice balance for road driving.
  13. Correct. I used to run 34 front and 35 rear, so as to cure some of the understeer the Zed naturally has.
  14. I don't think the whole RB & KERS thing is that much of an issue. Truth is that Melbourne isn't the best track to use KERS on anyway as there's relatively little straights, so RB did the right thing by junking it and letting their natural cornering ability do the work for them. On a track with longer straights they'll have much less of an advantage so will need the KERS, but then they'll have the extra weight which isn't going to help in the corners. There's no doubt it's the best chassis out there atm, but I doubt that when they do have to add KERS in that the car will be even further ahead than it is already. Also, I had a huge grin on my face watching Ferrari struggle yesterday
  15. Given that he's already had to change the time manually twice since signing up here, you'd have thought he'd probably have remembered that by now But yeah, as Wasso said just tick the box in the UCP.
  16. My old car was a ragtop with the K1 and I'm sure that having a fabric roof meant I got a lot less shaking and vibrations than the tintop guys. I loved mine, never had the bunts in except on track. Bunch of wimps That said, mine was an original K1 not the Japspeed version, I wonder if that's the reason?
  17. Meh, it'll probably be fine. You're not the first and nor will you be the last. Simple human error, irritating but hardly the end of the world. God knows how you managed to do 100 miles without the cap on though, most times you're lucky to get 2 miles before realising there's an issue! Get the garage to clean the engine bay thoroughly though else you'll get that smell for weeks.
  18. Shouldn't need to, personally I wouldn't bother.
  19. Depends on whether or not the previous owner cared about a good fit or not
  20. A decent tyre place is worth its weight in gold, I hope you find one soon.
  21. So DRS is useless, and Jenson gets a drive through for getting frustrated and cutting corners. Looks like the RBs are eating tyres too... I've missed F1!
  22. Well I gt up at the correct time Feels good to be back, hoping for good result from McLaren and especially Lotus (as long as theycan get some heat in those tyres!).
